It's been weeks after my brother parted ways with me and mom, the flower shop was still running well and so many things had changed now that william moved out.

I don't have to wake someone up to get ready and would see him sleeping on his desk while studying for his exams while listening to his favorite songs.

He was like me when it comes to music, it makes us feel like we're in a different place and that it comforts us.

After I cleaned up his room since there was dust and cobwebs everywhere but I'm going to leave the things be in case he would visit us for a long time.

"Anna, someone's at the shop" Mom called and I immediately went downstairs to entertain the customer.

"Hello there, good afternoon, what flower would you love to take?" I asked as I looked up and saw a familliar face.

He was Damien, my old friend from high school, I didn't expect to see him again after so many years of parting.

"So william was right, you'll be shocked when you see me" He laughed as I smiled at him and he opened his arms and hugged him.

It was pleasant to see an old friend that you'd never expect to meet. Damien is one of the people who helped me through my ups and downs back then so clearly I missed him.

We sat at our garden as I offered him coffee and sat down across him. "It's good to be reunited with you again anna" He said and I smiled as I sipped my tea.

"You still look the same as before especially that smile of yours anna, it's unforgettable" He smiled back and what he said made me remember when I spent my time with damien.

We would always sit under the tree when we study since it was a very quiet place that no one goes to except for me and damien.

"Do you remember when we sit under the tree at Carthia Uni? Where you have such messy notes?" Anna laughed at the sudden memory they shared together under that tree.

"Can you teach me how to solve this anna?"  He asked as I looked into his notebook full of math equations. "This notebook is a mess! You should write it properly so I could understand" Anna chuckled as damien quickly grabbed his notebook and anna continued to laugh it off.

"Of course you would remember that, you did have fun teasing me after seeing those scribbles in my notebook" Damien laughed, also remembering how they had so much fun back in uni.

They were almost inseparable, they were also known as the 'brainy duo' as they both does their best at studying and wouldn't even miss out on school activities even if they get a little credit for it.

Both of them were competitive but gadly doesn't end up fighting but rather just laughed it off when they're competing each other.

"Anna, let's go get some brain food, wouldn't want ourselves to get starving during exams today" Damien said, handing a plate with spoon and fork to Anna as they start lining up to get their lunch.

When they're about to leave, someone called Anna's name and started to call her names. "Oh look it's anna with her brainy nerd boyfriend! HAHA! That makes you both a brainy and nerdy couple" Sierra, anna's hater shouted as anna turned around to look at sierra.

"At least we're smart than 'just a beauty with no brains" Damien thought of that comeback that made sierra's face shocked as she  left the cafeteria with her embarrassed face on as both damien and anna laughed and left the cafeteria as well. "Did you see the look on her face? She was so embarrassed" Anna continued laughing while holding her stomach, damien was already trying to calm her down but it was too funny for anna that she just can't stop laughing.

Both of them had a good laugh while catching up and digging down their memory lane, it was something they missed that they'd wish there were more moments together.

Damien looked at his watched and his face soften and slowly grabbed his stuff "I'm afraid I must go now, anna, I was only here to stop by to visit you since the hospital that my mother's admitted to is nearby" Anna's face is now filled with worry listening to this and quickly went to the flower shop to pick up some flowers for his mother.

"Here, these are for her, please send her my regards, I'd like to visit sometimes if I'm not too busy" Damien smiled and took the buoquet of flowers anna prepared "Thank you Anna, I'm sure mother would love the flowers, especially when she knows it's from you"

Damien left with the flowers on his hand as Anna waved goodbye at an old friend, she sure already misses company and also miss her old friends. It feels like she had met them yesterday.
