it was currently half past 9 in the morning and the triplets had asked me to go and play ice hockey with them - so of course i said yes.
i love ice hockey, but only when i'm watching it. i can't ice skate for the life of me.

i heard the honk of a car, assuming it was matt i ran down the stairs and went outside. and i was right.
matt greeted me with the biggest hug as if we haven't seen eachother in months, although we saw eachother not even 24 hours ago.
"matheww!" i said, dragging out the w.
"y/n! i feel like i haven't seen you in years!" he said while kissing my forehead.
"matt i saw you yesterday" i laugh, as we both got in the car and matt drove us back to the triplets' house.
after a short drive we finally arrived.
"look who it is! my least favourite bestie!" chris kindly greets me with our handshake.
"okay chris let's be real, i'm basically your only friend" i roll my eyes sarcastically as he lets out a laugh.
"OH MY GOD?!" i hear someone shout from upstairs "IS THAT Y/N I CAN HEAR?!" the familiar voice shouts again.
"NICK! MY FAVOURITE BESTIE!" i scream back, mocking chris behind me when nick runs towards me.
"are you guys ready to go?" chris asks with his arms crossed.
"fine let's go" nick scoffs at chris, for practically ruining the moment between the two.
fast forward ..
"oh i'm so ready for this" chris smirks, looking directly at me. is he trying to start and argument?
"chris you know damn fucking well i can't do this, i don't wanna hear it" i shoot back, as chris nudges me and laughs.
"y/n, chris! come on" matt calls us over from kn the ice, there's no way i can do this without falling.
chris glides off towards nick and leaves me with matt.
"y/n your fine, i've got you!" matt reassures me, as i finally step on the ice.. and slip.
matt laughs as he holds out his hand and pulls me up, and slowly helps me skate with him.
"you need to use one leg after the other, take your time" matt tells me as i hold his hand and copy what he's doing "there you go you've got it! just do that and you'll be fine" he smiles at me as he lets go of my hand.
i can surprisingly do it, all thanks to matt.
"hey y/n! i'll race you" chris says
"oh chris, i've only just learnt give me a break!" i shout as everyone laughs, this wasn't that bad of an idea after all.
