A new discovery: Love (Paused)

Chapter 1

~y/n's pov~

*beep! beep! beep!*

I was awoken with a start. I looked at my rotom phone. 6:30 am. I went downstairs and made myself some breakfast. I would usually have cereal but I didn't feel strong enough to make it so I made some toast and put(F/S = Favourite spread) on top.

After I ate my toast, I had a shower and brushed my (h/c) (h/l) hair, and brushed my teeth. I remembered that it was my first day at my new job so I put on an (f/c) shirt, a pair of (sf/c) shorts, black shoes and purple knee-high socks.

"Miraidon, come on out. We gotta get to work." I shouted. I got a job at Uva academy, being the biology teacher's assistant. I hopped on top of them and rode to work.

When we got there, I put Miraidon back in their poke ball. I opened the huge door and closed it behind me and walked to the director's office.

*Knock, Knock knock*

"Come in," I heard a voice says.
I took a deep breath as I shakily grabbed the door hand. I pushed it open and gently closed it. "Ah, Y/n. You have arrived." "Sorry if I am late." I apologized.
"Don't worry you are not late, as I mentioned I'm director Clavell."
"Sorry, I am late." Another man said as he enter the room.
"Ah, Jacq perfect timing. I would you to meet your new assistant, Mr Y/n," Clavell stated.

"So this is my classroom. The rest of the teachers don't have assistants, I am the only one as I can be quite a scatterbrain at times so that is why the Director hired you." Jacq explained.
"Can you help me pick out 4 questions for the lesson starter?"

"Sure. I have some in my head." I spoke.
"What are they?" He asked intrigued.
"One could be 'how do chest form Gimmighoul get their coins?' The second is 'why do two of the same pokemon species look different from different regions?' 'How does charcadet evolve into Ceruledge?' And finally 'What item stops pokemon from evolving?' which has two answers."
"Y/n, for your first time working here, these are great questions to ask the students."
My cheek became bright red.

*Ding dong ding*

Students flooded the room as they took their seats. They were all doing the starter when one of them rose their hand.
"Mr Jacq, who is he?" The young girl questioned.
"Oh, this is Y/n. He is my new assistant." Jacq explained to the class.
"Hi, everyone." I greeted them, making sure I didn't frighten them.
"Hi, Mr Y/n" The whole class yelled.

"For the starter, does anyone know the answer to question 1?" Jacq asked.
A young boy raised his hand.
"Go on, Zack."
"Chest form Gimmighoul uses manipulation, Sir," Zack replied.
"Question 2?" Jacq questioned.
"Lillian."
"Different temperatures and different ways to get food."
"Does anyone know the answer to 3?"
Silence. "Y/n, do you know as you did suggest the questions?"
"I should know as I have a Ceruledge. It is quite simple. As Charcadet has two evolutions using items, you will need the malicious armour."
"Correct!" Jacq excitedly replied.
