Chapter 5 - There's Always A Calm Before the Storm...

Everyone busy with the hunt of the killer.... Haseena is busy with other officers who are handling the other cases.... here Riya and Vinod keeping digging on the clue which they had discussed in the cabin....

They all getting some help from the juniors so that they can get the result every quickly.... they are already two days behind the investigation...if the public knows about this, they would make fun of the force as well as new captain which they can't let that happen so they concentrate on work....

"what do you think Riya....why our ex-cop was killed in the deep woods..." ask Vinod looking at monitor and taking the notes...

"I think he was not death in the woods...the killer must have murdered him somewhere and buried him there...i can't believe his body didn't decompose that much...thanks to Dr Swetha for identifying the body...otherwise we wouldn't be able know that he was one of us...

"yeah... you are right.... i still don't get one thing..." says Vinod and Riya turns her chair towards him... "what..." "why no one knew about him...if he was staying somewhere else he must have talked to someone about his journey then why they didn't come forward.... he must have contacted someone like an old friend...didn't he told anyone that he was coming back...."

"that's really a good point.... if I happened to go somewhere at least I would have informed to one of my best friends... even I need some space alone I would have made sure that I am okay and not to worry about me...."

"exactly....the way we are digging on him..i feel like I am looking for the ghost who don't even exist in the world...."

"that's the good point to start our investigation...."says Haseena coming towards their desk...Vinod and Riya stands up...Haseena gestures them sit....she grabs another chair and sits beside them.... "whatever you guys are discussing is absolutely correct....i am also thinking that why did he not inform anyone about his arrival here.... if he was really working on a case, he must have told someone about it...."

"yeah...don't know where to start and look for..." says Vinod

"By the way, why do you think that Bijoy Chandran was working in some case.. it also be possible that he just came here to casual work..."ask Riya...

"yeah.... you are right.....maybe he was not dealing with any case....if he was here for the one day then why he was murdered...i don't think someone would murder him just for causal visit..."says Haseena....

"maybe he witnessed something which he was not allowed to see...." says Vinod casually and all their heard to him... "what...did I tell something wrong..."

"no....you are right...why it didn't come in to my mind...we were thinking that he must be working on something secretly...but like you said what if he had seen something which made him to get killed...."says Haseena with pleasant smile...

"so, what would that be...." ask Riya...

"I think I can answers that questions for you...." says Dr Shwetha... Standing behind them...all turns their chair.... she greets them and gives the file....Haseena starts to read it...

"at first I thought he might be dead because of strangulation but later I noticed something on his head...." Swetha shows them the photo of wound... "do you see his head which had mark of something long object..."

All looking at the photo.... "yeah...like someone hit his head very badly...." says Haseena.. "exactly.... the killer used a blunder object...first he attacks him and choked and then Stabbed him...."

"ohh.... that really brutal thing....looks like our killer was in rage..."says Riya who is trying gulp every information...

"we can say like that...but the way killer attacked him.. it seems like he didn't know if our victim was already death or not..."
