Chapter 6 - Where There Is Anger There Is Always Pain Underneath

Haseena opens her eyes slowly...she hear some footsteps and noise near her...someone is calling doctor.....she opens her eyes fully and looks around to find herself in the Hospital bed.....she tries to get up...someone holds and helps her to sit properly...

"Jeez...you are wake...how you are doing Captain..." Haseena turns and sees Riya who is looking at her worriedly.... she didn't understand why she is here....

"yeah I am doing okay.... but what I am doing here in the hospital...how did I get here..." ask Haseena leaning back on the pillow...

"some of your neighbours heard noises in your house.... they thought someone broke into you house and trying to rob you...so they called the police once heard more noises as if there was fight.... we got the house address and reached the spot.... we opened the door and found you on the floor unconscious. We searched the whole house but didn't find anyone there... looks like the thief escaped before we get him..."

"the thief...?" asked bewildered Haseena.

"yeah...we saw the back door open...thought he must have escaped from there.... you should be thankful that he didn't take or do anything to you...do you remember about last night...we need your statement for the records...."

Of course, Haseena remembered everything about the events.... she also knows who did that...but she can't say truth to them right...what could she say to them...

"i mean what if they think I am crazy...telling them it's not the thief but the ghost who changed into a demonic avatar.... who would believe her that it's the job of ghost..." thinks Haseena..

Riya clears her throat to make Haseena back to reality...again she asks questions if she remembers anything about the last night...can she tell them about the thief who tried to rob her... did she see his face....

"I don't remember anything except for the noise...i too thought that it was someone so I walked to the living room... before I could confront him, he throwed things on me...i didn't realised when I fell unconscious .... glad that the neighbours helped and called you guys.... thank you for coming to get me..."says Haseena making up the things...

"hey.. don't say like that...it's our duty to take care for you....we are so relieved see you breathing there...for a second we all thought you were death...."says Riya..Haseena smiles a little...then she sees Vinod coming with Danish..

"look who's up...you really sacred us Cap... thought we were going to lose you......" says Vinod worriedly...

"I guess... I am not yet ready to leave you guys that easy..." says Haseena to lighten the mood...

"how are you Haseena...glad you are fine...we got terrified seeing the condition of house as well as you....is everything all right...? who was there in the house yesterday..." ask Danish...

"no idea.... did he took anything from the house..." ask Haseena to cover up her lie...

"no, he didn't take anything but he messed up the whole place...the only things in the living room is misplaced...before he could rob more, I think you showed up...he attacked you and ran from there..." says Vinod...

"thank god...." says Haseena quietly.... making everyone look confused... "I mean if he didn't take anything then there is no reason to write a statement..."

All exchange looks with each other jumbled ... "but Haseena...he did attack you...we definitely had to take action..." says Danish and everyone aggress with him...

"I know... the way he misplaced whole thing...i think he might be looking for the money in the dark... once he heard my footsteps, he must have got panicked and throwed the things at the random places not knowing that its police officer house...if he knows who was living there, he never would have dared to come inside the house....so it's not necessary to file the complaint unless he tried to rob my house again.....is that clear..."Haseena convinces everyone..
