(Y\N)'s Pov:
After leaving the king's studio I decided to start designing some things that I would do as soon as I ascended the throne; first of all I would not have been a weak queen. I went to knock on the door of Killer and Horror's room:
"Hello princess, do you need anything?" Killer said opening the door,
"Hi Killer, I need some help, can you train me?",
"Do you want to learn how to fight?", "If in a few months I become queen I want to be able to protect my kingdom, will you help me?",
"Horror agrees" said Horror standing next to his companion,
"all right, meet me in the garden in an hour"; "Thanks so much guys" Killer closed the door as I walked down the hallway to the garden.
TIME SKIP
(Y\N)'s Pov:
"So, there are different types of attack: Horror and I specialize in using weapons, while Nightmare and Error use magic" Killer explained, "since you're a human it's probably easier for you to use weapons, Horror! bring things!" Horror was pulling a big bag full of weapons in the garden: "choose the one you like best, we have knives, axe, spiked ball, mace, sticks" while Killer raised the weapons, I walked over to the bag and started looking at what could do my thing.
"How about these?" I took three small daggers, "Horror likes them",
"yeah, they're a good start" Killer approached me to a tree,
"try to catch it, let's see if you can throw them" I had bad aim and, as I imagined, I totally missed the tree. "Ok, maybe this isn't for you, let's try close combat" Horror stood in front of me as Killer gave me instructions on how to attack an opponent bigger than me.
Nightmare's Pov:
"Prince, two people are looking for you" a guard called me,
"I'll go right away" I headed towards the castle entrance, probably the last two members of my team had arrived: "welcome guys, punctual as always" in fact here is Dust and Cross. Dust had been one of the first to join my team, while Cross was still new, I already had an assignment for him: "Dust, you are free to go to your room, stay with Error" I approached Cross, "for you instead I have already a very special assignment".
TIME SKIP
"Do you know Dream? my brother?" I said as I walked by Cross who was looking at me a little confused: "yeah? isn't that the main reason you called me?",
"exactly, I need you to keep him under control for some time, it will also be an excellent training for you" arrived at Dream's door I knocked; "Dream open, don't be annoying". Dream shortly after came to open the door looking annoyed but his expression changed seeing Cross,
"I introduce you to Cross, the youngest knight of my team, I thought that by leaving him with you for a while maybe he could learn something" I said looking to be as kind as possible:
"Ok brother, I didn't expect it from you but I guess it's ok, my pleasure boy, I'm Dream" Dream reached out his hand towards Cross,
"my pleasure my prince, I'm Cross".
Dream's Pov:
What did Nightmare have in mind? Did he just give me one of his knights?
"well, Cross if you look for me I'm in my room, make sure you get along" Nightmare went away and I closed the door. Cross seemed different from the other knights of Nightmare, it was clear that he was inexperienced but at the same time he seemed like a good person...
