Am I seeing what I think I am seeing? Is that really my Dad? Oh God.
He looks older...and he looks really gone through a hard time. But what confused me is....who is that young boy he is holding? Where's my sister?
I was going to open my door but Ben stopped me from opening the door and locked it. I swear, I am going to kill this man any moment now.
"Ms. Lisa, you are not allowed to get out of this car" he said seriously at me.
I eyed him angrily, my blood is totally boiling right now "Ben, open the door or I will break this door "
But still, Ben remained still, not moving "Boss will kill me if he finds out that I let you step out of this car. even worse if I let you talk to your parents"
Taking a deep breath, I relaxed myself but I don't care. I am going to talk to my Dad right now. "Ben, I swear to God if you didn't open this door.... You need to find another job tomorrow"
Ben's face stiffed. might be thinking of his answer.
Wordless, I heard my door unlocked and not wasting more time. I quickly opened the door and ran to catch up with my Dad.
I ran faster, catching up with him. My head is ringing, my heart is pumping fast but thes huge grin in my face cant be hide. "Dad!" I yelled because he was about to unlock someone's gate
Dad stopped at where he stands. He might heard my voice. He looked around, searching for something.
"Dad?" I called much softer now.
Then he turned around, now he saw me. He blinked three times to see me clearly but like I said. I am not going to waste my time.
My time is only limited so ran to him and hugged him tightly. Oh God, "DAD!"
My Dad hugged me back then break the hug "Lisa? Is that really you? My God, you look beautiful"
I nod my head and wiped my tears away "Finally! Someone familiar to me. I missed you Dad"
He smiled back happily "How are you? Is Mr. Yang, treating you well?"
But I just faked a smile and nod my head "He has been taking care of me. He even made me study in Paris, Dad! How great is that"
"Good to know that he has been nice to you. I did nothing but worry and think if he will treat you properly" he said
I seem to notice the young boy he is holding in his hand who is looking at me awkwardly and probably not knowing of what is going on. "Who is this? " I asked pointing at him "Where's Mom? Lia?" I want to see them! I really wanted to see them. Hug them and tell them everything.
Dad's eyes changed. He turn to the kid and said "You go home ahead, Mark."
Something is fishy....
"What happened Dad?" I asked. My voice was a little shaky and nervous at the same time. My conscience tells me something is wrong.
