Severus stalked through the corridor. He had let Lyra Potter go under his radar for too long. But he couldn't let it lie how.

He had been told by other students that she was taking drugs. And he was going to stop it. He knew she was on a path to self destruction.

Severus walked into the common room. He saw her there with Sierra. "Miss Potter. With me. Now."

"No. No thank you."

Severus walked over to her. "With me now. You insolent little girl," he told her.

Lyra rolled her eyes. She stood up and followed him. She was taken to his office where McGonagall and Lupin were.

"What's going on?"

"Miss Potter. It's been brought to our attention that you are taking illegal drugs. And we are concerned for you," McGonagall said as she looked to her.

Lyra scoffed. She shook her head. "Well. Whoever told you that is lying. So I'll be taking my leave now," she spat as she stood up and walked off.

She was annoyed. She knew that there was someone spying and snitching on her. And she didn't know who it was.

But she was starting to think that she could trust no one. She knew she hated it.

Lyra walked down the hallway. She saw Draco and sighed.
"Hey Draco."

"Are you okay? I heard Snape pulled you in," Draco asked.

Lyra smiled.  "It's okay. I can handle Snape," she told him as she took a deep breath.

Draco nodded.  "Just be careful. Sierra was looking for you. And be careful. My sister is one of her moods."

"Yeah. Well that's why I love her," Lyra said as she walked off to the great hall.

Lyra walked towards the Great Hall. She looked to see Sierra and smiled. "What are you up to?" Lyra asked as she saw Sierra who had Fred Weasley pinned to the wall.

"Nothing. He was just accusing me of using my powers on him. Like I would. Watch your back Weasley," Sierra spat as she walked over to Lyra and smiled.

"Someone has been snitching on me. To Snape. Saying I'm on drugs. I mean if he only knew what a Slytherin party was like. Then he wouldn't just judge me," Lyra said.

Sierra smiled and nodded. "I heard the Gryffindor are just as bad. Just be careful. I mean, the last thing you want is them to prove it. You're my best friend. And I just want you to be okay," she told her.

Lyra took her hand and smiled. "You see. That's why I love you. We're as dark and twisted as each other," Lyra said.

Lyra walked out of the common room. She frowned as she saw Remus Lupin. He was looking for her.

"What are you doing here?" She asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I wanted to see how you are. I knew your father. And like you he was never a good liar. And neither are you. I know that there is something going on with you. And I am going to find out. I am not going to see you go down a downwards spiral," he told her.

Lyra looked to him. She frowned. "Why do you care?" She asked as they held a look.

"Because I do," he said as he stepped towards her as the two of them held a look.

Unaware of just how things were going to be easy between them.
