HEALED ➼ Remus Lupin

𝟳. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗺

Lyra lay in bed. She knew how things were and she knew how it wasn't easy.

She knew how she had been through a lot in her life. It wasn't easy. But she knew how she was done trying to get Harry to want to be part of her life. And she knew how it wasn't easy.

She knew that she was done with trying. And she knew who her family was

Lyra knew how she and Remus had been getting a lot closer. And she knew how he cared for her. She was glad for it all. Even if she had no idea what it meant.

Lyra got dressed and walked down to the common room. She saw Draco who smiled. "Hey are you okay?" He asked.

Lyra looked to him. "I'm okay I guess. Is your mother still here?"

"Yeah. Sierra isn't happy. She was pulled out of bed at the crack of dawn for a meeting with our mother, professor snape. Weasley and his mother and the headmaster," he said. 

Lyra winced at the thought. "Oh hell," Lyra said as she sighed. She knew that it was not going to end where for Sierra.

"Are you okay?" Draco asked as he looked to Lyra.

"I'm okay. It's just been a long week," she said.

She knew how she couldn't get things with Remus off her mind. And she didn't know what to think about it all.

He was her parents best friend. And she knew that they had a connection. But she knew she couldn't explain it.

Lyra smiled as she saw Sierra in the hallway. She smiled. "Hey. Are you okay? I heard that you had a meeting with mother."

"Ugh don't go there. I have to wrote a formal apology to him. Do you have any idea how embarrassing this is," Sierra said.

"I guess you will know not to use your siren powers anymore," Lyra said

Sierra looked to her and rolled her eyes. "You're not helping do you know that," she said as Lyra chuckled. "Are you okay?" She asked as she looked to Lyra as she noticed a change in her.

"I'm okay. I know how it's not easy. And I know how things have been. But I am done trying to be the perfect sister to him. My parents are gone. So it is how it is. I will find a way to make it all okay," she said. 

Sierra looked to her and smiled. "Of course you will," she told her.

Lyra sat in class as she looked to Remus as he stood teaching. The two of them held a look as she smiled.

She knew how things were between them. And how it wasn't easy. But she knew that she was finding herself thinking about Remus a lot.

The end of class approached. "Lyra a word please," Remus said as she nodded as everyone left.

Lyra walked over to Remus and smiled. "There a problem sir?" She asked.

Remus looked to her and smiled. "Not at all. I wanted to see how you were doing?"

Remus smiled. "I'm good sir! I really am," she said as he looked to her and smiled.

She knew how none of it was easy. But would it all work out in the end?
