08:00 am Monday,December 8th
Millie

Once Millie got to the school the guidance counselor gave her a tour then called down a boy named Elijah. The guidance counselor signed to me " This is Elijah he knows sign language he
will show you too your classes"   I look at the boy who had dark hair and he smiled at me and then started to sign "Hi my name is Elijah what's yours"  I signed "Hi i'm millie"

Elijah told me the bell had rung and that we should get to class once I got their the teacher was talking about something so I asked elijah what she was saying because i'm not good at lip reading yet he said she was saying how you were a new student and to be nice to you then the teacher looked right at me and so did everyone else i was confused. I turned to elijah and he immediately signed " She asked you to say something about yourself and if you had any siblings'' I asked elijah to translate for me he said he would i stood up and signed "Hi my name is millie i like to write and i have two siblings'' I can see elijah speaking for me then a girl raised her and started talking.I looked over at Elijah who looked annoyed he signed to me "She asked why you can't talk for yourself" I look over to the girl who is laughing and I signed "im deaf" she then said something that made elijah very mad I can tell by his face he signed "she said yes but that doesn't mean you can't talk it only prevents hearing your just an idiot". After that I sat down and then two boys turned to me and started talking
"Hi I'm Benjamin but you can call me Ben. This is  my boyfriend Oliver. I look too Elijah. He signed what they said and I signed "hi i'm millie". The bell rang

Elijah

The bell rang and everyone got up to get out the door
In the hallway I saw Emily coming back from the office. I blocked Millie so Emily couldn't get to her. "WHERE IS SHE" Emily yelled everyone moved to show me blocking Millie "MOVE OUT OF MY WAY"she yelled she pushed me and then her boyfriend showed up lucas started beating me up while Emily was laughing. I quickly looked at Millie who was crying. I signed for her "run to the counselor" . She ran past Emily who started chasing her. I couldn't see Millie or Emily anymore. They had turned the corner. I can feel Lucas kicking me then it stopped and I blacked out. I woke up in the hospital. I look over to see Millie sound asleep on the couch. I didn't want to wake her. She looked so peaceful but I noticed she had a cut in her lip Emily must have gotten to her. I couldn't reach her so I grabbed a teddy bear that was next to me and I smiled at it. I toss the bear and it hits her in the head. I laughed. She woke up slightly frightened then she saw me awake and jumped up and came over to the bed and sat on the edge."are you okay" she signed  frantically "yes im okay" I signed.

Ben and Oliver point of view
We stand in the doorway and watch as they talk and hug

"They look so cute together" whispered Ben
"They should be a couple" whispered Oliver
"I can hear you" Elijah said
"Oh we're sorry" we both said
Millie yawned and got up to lay on the couch. Elijah signed for her to lay in the bed with him. The couch must not be comfy. She climbed in and fell asleep on his chest. Elijah smiled.

*Ben takes a picture* "aww" Ben said
"You like her don't you? " Oliver asked
"Yea I do but i don't know if she likes me back" Elijah said
" We will help you"  The two boys said
" How could you help? " Elijah asked doubtingly
"We're gay this is what we do" they laughed
"What?" Elijah asked
"Nothing just teach us some sign language so we can talk to her" Ben  said
" I leave tomorrow so i'll teach you then after i go home and every wednesday after" Elijah yawned as he said it so Oliver and Ben left and Elijah fell asleep.

The Next Morning
Elijah got discharged and went home. Millie said she would go with him but he had to teach Oliver and Ben so he said she should get some rest.
Elijah walked in with his crutches because Lucas had stopped on his ankle and now it was broken. Once the boys came over he taught them basic phrases and the alphabet hours later they went home. His phone rang he saw it was millie he answered then hung up showing he would answer his text message. They texted until Millie went to sleep and Elijah soon after.
A week later
Elijah
He woke up at 6:30 and got ready he was finally going back to school
and went to school.
Once he got there he saw his friends waiting for him as they walked up to the door. He paused, he didn't even have to tell his friends he was anxious they knew. Millie noticed and turned around. She grabbed his hand and they walked in together. They went to the first period and that's when he saw Emily with a bruise on her face. He was surprised he had thought that Millie got hurt but Emily had a huge bruise right on her jaw. He turned to MIlle with a confused look on his face "did you do that" he signed to her she nodded. He was shocked he nodded making sure she knew he was done talking. Emily looked furious. I knew she would try fighting again so I told Millie to be careful. The bell rang ten minutes later."SHE GO ME DETENTION FOR A WEEK" and just like that she was running towards Millie. Millie watched her run and then she stepped to the side and stuck out her arm and then Emily fell to the floor and got back up and they started fighting. Ten minutes later Millie swung a right hook and hit Emily right in the face. Emily stayed down and Lucas went and got her off the floor. After the other four periods it was lunch. We were sitting at the table and here comes Lucas with an extremely angry look on his face. I started shaking.
