CHAPTER SIX

Perfect Combination

Oh my, I'm still bothered by my padlock combination. If its another person to know that combination, I'll be on crisis. Its a very confidential thing for me. My brother Rain told me not to put any of our family's birthday for my security. Ofcourse, everyone knows my brothers every existence especially their bio-data. What can I expect from my popular brothers? Since, no one knows my secret love for P.A. I can use his birthday so that I won't ever forget my lock combination. I remember the time when my bestfriend Christine has to borrow my notes but I'm on the duty to attend student council meeting since I am the secretary in our class plus the faculty insists that I should be there because I am one of the outstanding student in my level. Even thou I don't consider myself to be outstanding, I have no choice but to attend. I just want to be simple that I can do whatever I want to do. Its true that I have an excellent grade and consistent average of A- but that cannot be considered on top. It bugs my inner brain a lot when my secret is spilled! Not now that I am about to leave this school and goodbye to all my favorite places where I used to hangout and to my classmates. Although I did not have time to be so close to them but they've been part of my everyday that I am used to. Well its life like they say, Change is the only thing inevitable.

As I storm out of the classroom to meet Christine out the field going to the canteen. As we enter the big sliding door of our canteen, We walk pass a lot students in group chatting non stop while eating their food. A group of boys near the entrance seems they have already finished eating and starting to do some weird stuffs on their drinks like mixing ketchup, coke, oyster sauce, mayo and royal. Oh my G! that makes my stomach twich little. Me and Chris headed to our usual spot near the balcony of the canteen. I was surprise to see P.A. with Donna and Daryl beside our table but I manage not to look surprise instead I smile at them.

"Hi Kate!" Donna greeted grinning at me and then look at P.A. Patrick wave at me and his smile reflecting the glow in his eyes as he look at me. I know I will miss that smile of his. I wave at him too then show off my brightest and cheerful smile to him, my ultimate crush. Then Daryl greeted Chris a "Hi" to aknowledge her presence. Chris just nodded and smile to the three of them.

We just land our notes there and turn the reserve sign on the table to take our order at the counter. Chris pick her favorite afritada and 3 creamy puffs for dessert while me choose to eat lasagna, garlic bread and rocky road ice cream for dessert. I heard Chris comment on my choice of lunch. "Waw, that's for miryenda not for lunch. Are you on a diet?" I chuckle to her and replied " No, I just crave for lasagna and my tummy doesn't like to eat in full today. "Hahaha.. you never eat a lot Kate! 'cause you are too knowledgeable that you are a slow eater. Don't worry we still have 1 hour you know."

"I just like lasagna ok? I'll eat rice later at home."

After we pay our food, we headed to our table and settle our food. I put my wallet in my pocket. I felt a piece of paper as I slid it inside. I remember the heart shape letter I got a while ago inside my book. Without second thought, I get it out my pocket and try to open it slowly. I want to remember the folds so I can return it the way it is. Chris eyes widen to see what was on my hand.

"Wow, who give you that heart bestfriend? I'm curious!"

"Well, I'm about to know that now. Since I found it inside my Science book."
