Season 1 chapter 1: A family's formed

Sabre wakes up at his house at the rainbow kingdom, he kept having nightmare's about the Steve Saga realm, Red Steve's death, meeting the orange kingdom only for it to be attacked by the darkness and week's later nightmare attacking and kidnapping the entire kingdom all the way to Rainbow Steve's death, he wanted to talk to someone but Light was on a mission and green and yellow were spending time with their families, that caused Sabre's mood to lower even more from remembering his mom and dad from his previous life as an assassin, what got Sabre out of his head with the mourning of his friend and brotherly figure was the knock on his door.

"Hey sabre you up? green wanted to spend a day with the Yellow and orange kings as a way of getting a break" it was Yellow Steve "yeah I'm coming!" sabre said half yawning he barely got any sleep last night cause he thought he saw someone he thought he sealed away. He got dressed and put his green hoodie on over a white shirt with a pair of blue jeans and brown boots, after that he grabbed his blindfold and put it on then went downstairs to open the door. "Hey yellow" Sabre said to his energetic friend "hey I didn't wake you up did I?" yellow Steve asked the short human cause if he did then he was going to scold himself for the rest of the day

"no I woke up before you knocked, so why did you guys plan this? for the Yellow king to not overwork himself?" Sabre half-joked "sort of yeah but it was mostly so we could all ask you something" the yellow colored Steve said with a hint of suspicion, Sabre could tell Yellow was hiding something instantly "what are you hiding? besides the fact you literally said the orange king was in on the whole break idea."

After Sabre said that Yellow went wide-eyed "uh hiding the fact that someone else will be their?" yellow quickly tried to hide the truth, Sabre caught on but he let it slide cause the sunny boy was starting to scatter electricity around his hands. "okay then, shall we get going as to not worry those three? Sabre said as a way to calm Yellow down before his house got caught on fire, "yeah let's go" Yellow said that as he picked Sabre up piggy back style and ran over to the area the Yellow king, orange king, and green were.

*Yellow kings POV*

As the yellow and orange kings waited for yellow to arrive with Sabre green was making sure everything was perfect, they were positioned under a Sakura tree that the violet and green kings helped with growing they also made the inside hollow so the second part of the surprise could hide in it, the flowers by the area were the colors orange, yellow, green and white "where are those two?" the yellow king was starting to grow worried "don't worry Solnste they'll get here" the orange king assured his partner.

"yeah but still, I'm a bit worried this will all go downhill and he'll hate it-" "yellow king no offense but Sabre sees you as a father and after this you will pretty much be his father the same with the orange king" Light said peeking his head out of the tree upside down "are you sure your not getting a blood rush to the head light Steve? cause that looks like it's painful" green asked in complete astonishment his friend is doing that "yeah I did this a lot back when I was shy orange Steve" "yeah you kept giving me a heart attack." The orange king finished

"sabre and yellow's coming!" green says at the sudden moment Light hid back in the tree to wait for the signal while green leaned on it cause he was the signaler the two kings waited in front of the tree and saw yellow coming up the hill with Sabre on his back "oh boy.." the orange king said thinking Sabre might be dizzy.

*Sabre's POV*

After a while Yellow slowed down and helped me off in case I was dizzy to which I was a little "you alright Sabre?" the yellow king asked in a worried parental tone, why? I had no idea "yeah just wasn't ready for that I didn't think you could pick me up yellow" Sabre said shaking his head a little to get rid of the dizziness to which it worked.

"So... why did you guys want me over here?" he asked the other four as Yellow went over to tree and leaned on the left side "well we have two surprises for you, the first one is hiding" as the Yellow king said that Green knocked on the tree and Sabre could hear scuttling in the tree before seeing someone drop down from inside it and becoming overjoyed wide-eyed and surprised "hey Sabre miss me?" Light said as he got out of the tree, the next thing any of the five knew sabre tackle hugged light to the ground.

"heh I had a feeling you missed me but not enough to award me a tackle hug" Light said as he returned the gesture sitting up with Sabre still hugging him "shush you were gone for weeks you ain't getting out of this hug just yet" Sabre murmured "yeah I figured I deserve that" light acknowledged his situation and let it continue.

Sabre was still clinging onto Light for the next few minutes until the orange king said something "well now that we got through that can we get onto the next surprise?" Sabre nodded and got up giving light some room to get up as well "now what was the surprise?" Sabre questioned noting the expressions the other five were making.

"Well we were thinking of making the six of us a family" the yellow king said making Sabre's jaw drop and his eyes widen "you- wha- I- uh- huh?" Sabre was completely surprised by that statement "yeah we figured you would react that way so we wanted to wait as to not push you to answer" the orange king replied to Sabre's mumbling.

Sabre was silent for a while until he finally smiled he was having a hard time holding back the tears but he let the waterworks flow when he hugged the yellow and orange kings thanking them in whispers the two kings smiled and returned the hug with green, light and yellow joining in on the hug.

okay so...... I ran into a pickle during the making of this chapter that being the nicknames they will have as their are gonna be multiple scenes in future chapters of them talking to other Steve's so any Ideas? the ones I see the most will be the ones placed into the story thank you and have a good night.
