Mion's POV:
"And the winner for the girl group who sold the most albums for this month, as well as the girl group who topped our popularity poll is..." The host said, pausing for dramatic effects.
They should seriously stop doing that! We'll feel even more nervous!
We awaited their announcement, our hearts racing, palms rapidly sweating and fingers tightly crossed, all the while hoping we'd be chosen.
"... MARs!!! Congratulations! It's your 3rd consecutive win in our popularity polls and the most sold album!"
The 3 of us hugged each other tightly, tears of joy escaped from my eyes.
"Would you like to say something?" The host asked, handing the microphone to Aira.
"Thank you for all those who supported us! I hope you all felt Happy Lucky with our performances, because we felt Happy Lucky performing them for you!" Aira then handed the microphone to Rizumu.
"We'll be sure to not disappoint you in our upcoming Live Show!" Rizumu handed the microphone to me.
"You're all our inspiration for making our songs catchy, our dances graceful, our jumps heart warming and our clothes sparkle! We will do even better!" I ended and the 3 of us bowed and waved at the crowd, then went backstage.
"Otsukare." Wataru said, handing me a towel. Sho and Hibiki were there too.
I grabbed the towel from him without a word.
"No thanks? Don't you want to say anything to me?" Wataru pressed.
I sighed in defeat, "Alright. Thanks for supporting us and congratulations for being the top boy group and for winning in the popularity poll."
"Just the words I wanted to hear!" Wataru happily said and suddenly hugged me. I was too surprise to hug back.
He quickly let go after realizing his actions.
"S-Sorry! I was too caught up in the moment." Wataru said.
"Idiot! Don't do that again!" I said, facing the other direction to hide my furiously blushing face while my heart raced insanely. What's happening to me?!
It's been a few weeks since Shachou and Rizumu's mom did a prism show, jumping the Aurora Rising Duo. We were really stunned. They were truly legendary, having perfectly synchronized jumps and moves. And their voices were still in perfect condition! It truly was a treat and it became our goal to be like them. Although Shachou was absent for the next week after that due to back pain. Age was getting on to them.
After the former legendary prism queen who 1st did the Aurora Rising announced she already had a family, everyone was in shock. But it was a good thing they whole-heartedly accepted that fact but even now, it's still the huge talk.
"Hi-kun! Congratulations!" Kanon said and hugged Hibiki tightly, shoving Rizumu.
"Thanks Kanon!" Hibiki replied while Kanon and Rizumu engaged in a glaring competition.
"Good work, Aira. Congratulations." Sho smiled, to which Aira quickly blushed fuiously. She's too obvious. I can't believe Sho hasn't noticed yet. How dense can he get?
"Th-Thanks, Sh-Sho-san! U-Um, c-congratulations too!" Aira stammered, still red and fidgeting.
"GOOD WORK, YOU GUUUUYSSS!!!" Kaname screamed from the door way, charging at us and tackling us down to a hug to the point we couldn't breathe. Nothing unusal. Honestly, how can she tackle us like this and how can we not have gotten used to it yet?
