Hibiki's POV:

Our plane took off as I stared out the window beside me. Nothing but puffy white clouds in various shapes and sizes.

I've noticed, no, everyone has noticed that Rizumu and I haven't be talking lately. It all started when Aira and Shou confessed. But, I know that I didn't do anything wrong, yet she's distancing herself for some reason. It's been bothering me. Especially what happened yesterday.

*Flashback*

Hibiki's POV:

We raced towards the skating rink, our footsteps left a trail on the sand as the waves gushed. Rizumu was in the lead, her feet were light on the sand.

I could've easily taken her over, but there's like this invisible barrier between us that kept me from going anywhere near her. Her aura around me's difderent. Not to mention we haven't spoke a word to each other today.

Did I do anything to hurt her? If so, I don't recall.

I absent-mindedly continued to run like that, frustrated as to what Rizumu's thinking.

My line of thoughts were intercepted when I heard a gentle male voice from the skating rink. I went inside and saw a guy with red hair singing and dancing beautifully, making me relaxed.

The song ended and his gaze met Rizumu's. He quickly rushed over to her, a grin plastered on his face while he said, "Long time no see!"

I was taken aback because of the first words that greeted Rizumu.

Long time no see? A childhood friend, perhaps?

"Uh... I'm sorry but have we met before? I couldn't seem to remeber." Rizumu replied and his grin slowly faded.

"You really don't remember me, Rizu?" He asked, his eyes filled with shock and sadness.

Rizumu seemed to think for a moment.

"Ren!!" Rizumu said, suddenly tackling him to a hug.

"Took you long enough, Rizu!" He said, smiling widely.

I wanted to so desperately take Rizumu away from this "Ren" guy. But I couldn't move my feet. It felt like it was nailed to the ground.

"Sorry, I have to go now Rizu, my manager's angry! I'll see you soon enough!" He said, upon looking at his phone. He then waved goodbye to him and so did Rizumu.

Rizumu turned around with the biggest grin I've seen, then she saw me. Her grin instantly fell like leaves in Autumn. She stood there, unmoving, staring at me. I did the same. I waited for her to say something... anything at all.

She finally opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted.

"You guys run insanely fast!" Mion said, with the others trailing behind her. They paused to catch their breath, then stared at us.

"Did anything happen before we arrive?" Aira asked.

"Nothing. In truth, we just got here." Rizumu said, shaking her head "no" and putting on a smile that did not reach her eyes.

"Let's skate!" She invited us and we moved to the rink, but my legs were still paralyzed and I stared into the space where Rizumu once was.

I felt hurt, angered, betrayed... jealous. I've never seen her smile like that before. That guy must've made her real happy. Have I ever made Rizumu happy?
