"...and I think it would be a great break from everything, what you reckon Jamie?" My mother said to my aunt across the dinner table
"I think it would be absolutely wonderful! away from the kids for a bit as well" my aunt teased winking at me
"Wait I'm not going with you guys?" I asked looking at the two
"Oh hunny, this is just for me and your auntie I was thinking maybe you could stay with Toby" she said making my smile drop
"Cheer up des you'll be with your favorite cousin" Toby elbowed me grinning
"What the hell am I supposed to do for two weeks with Toby" I exclaimed
"Well maybe he'll take you around town" my mom shrugged taking a sip of wine from her glass
"Well when are the two of you planning on leaving?" I questioned
"Around Friday so we have 4 days until then" she replied
"Well why can't I stay here at home by myself? I'm 16 I can take care of myself" I uttered
"I just think it's best you stay with Toby, he's a responsible young man I trust him to stay watching over you" she argued "I never know how it is with you" she continued
I sighed, "okay" I side eyed Toby making him laugh

It was 1 day until my aunt and mother left to their little get away, I packed up 2 weeks worth of clothes and essentials I needed to stay at Toby's, I honestly don't know why I couldn't stay on my own, I can take care of myself
Also what the hell am I going to do for two weeks with Toby?
Like absolutely nothing, I could've stayed with Hollie and had a sleepover with her for 2 weeks straight but I know my mom would say no to that because of last time...
"Dessire hun! Toby's here to pick you up!" My mom shouted
I sighed grabbing a few more things and headed to the door with my bags
"By mom! Love you stay safe" I hugged her as I left out the door
"Love you too!"
I walked up to his car seeing someone in the passenger seat, I looked like to be Jude, oh no.
I've actually never met Jude before in person but I guess todays the day, plus he's fresh on knowing i have crush on his brother what an amazing time for me
Toby rolled down the window, "get in loser" he chuckled
I rolled my eyes getting all my things I'm the back with me
"Hi des" Jude smiled turning back to me
"Hi" I respond a bit dryly I don't want the crushing on his younger brother situation to come up this quick
"Oh by the way Jude's staying over at mines tonight so we've got company" Toby said glancing back at me to let me know
"Yeah, jobes joining us later as well" Jude added making my heart drop.
How more eventful can this day get.
