It's not every day that you hear your name mentioned in conversation topics. It wasn't every day that you'd feel eyes burning in your back; the heaviness in your heart once those stares became more noticeable. It wasn't your fault, no, not at all. With the unfortunate crowd you were surrounded by, how could it be your fault?
It never was until the words became a broken record for you, that now you believed them; that it really was your fault.

Lim Arya spent her entire summer before senior year absolutely destroyed over her break up with her now ex. Who knew hugging a giant teddy bear and sobbing your eyes out to Keshi was free therapy?
It took at least a whole two months for Arya to get back on her feet and start socializing again. She called up her two best friends; Lee Heeseung and Park Saemi for a hang out at their lovely spot!
"Why did you bring your brother, Saemi?" Arya questioned, sipping her apple juice shortly after as the boy snapped his head at her.
"I didn't bring him willingly. He invited himself." Saemi answered, glaring at her brother. Jay waved his hand, shooing off her words with a scowl on his face.
"Actually, I didn't invite myself— Okay, maybe I did but Heeseung's here and I missed him." Jay retorted, sending stupid hand hearts to Heeseung; who was on the verge of throwing up, by the way.
"You saw me ALL OF SUMMER." Heeseung scoffed, crossing his arms and slowly shuffled in his seat away from the group. "I didn't see Arya for like two months after her break up—"
"Omg. They broke up? Arya and Sunghoon?" Jay cried, putting his hand to his mouth with possible tears filling up his eyes. "My OTP is ruined! Chivalry is dead!"
Arya and Saemi looked at each other, both mentally face palming themselves at Heeseung's slip up. Arya's eyes narrowed at Heeseung as a frown formed on her face.
"Way to go, big mouth."
"I thought this idiot knew! He's friends with Sunghoon after all."▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Summer flew by quick and now it was Arya's official first day of school. She arrived too early for her liking as her ride arrangements were literal shit.
She'd be awake at 5:30am, be ready at 6am and arrive at school at 7am due to her mom's job. Although how tired she was, she was over the moon because she had a ride to school instead of taking the bus every morning.
"Have a good day at work, mom." Arya said with a smile before climbing out of the car. "Of course, sweetie! Have an amazing first day. Remember to take the bus with Saemi and Heeseung, ok?"
She shut the door before walking towards a nearby café, greeting the employees with a tired smile. Arya scanned the menu before ordering herself a large strawberry cheesecake flavored coffee, and Lord, was it fucking delicious.
The black haired girl whipped out her phone as she walked back towards the school, scrolling mindlessly on her phone before going inside the old building, grabbing breakfast from the cafeteria and heading to her usual spot.
Taking out her phone once more, she immediately texted her group chat with Saemi and Heeseung. Arya swallowed hard at the glances she'd get from passersby.
