A little child with a black hair and her nightwear on, wakes up hearing her parents fighting downstairs. she gets out of her bed and walks towards the dark hallway
"is mommy and daddy fighting again?" said child but no one said back to her.
She hears her mom shouting at her father "I can't find it! What are we going to do!"
"Relax honey we'll find it, nothing's gonna happen okay?" Said her husband trying to calm her down
"Godammit will, that thing is the only thing keeping him away from her. We betrayed him will, he gonna come for her!" Shout her mother in panic
Then her mother looks at the stairs seeing her daughter
"rose!" Shout the mother
The child rans up the stairs. The mother opens her daughter's room, walks towards the bed with a bulge under the sheets,
"honey why aren't you sleeping yet? It's way pass your bed time little bug, I don't want to see you sniffing around after this okay?" Said her mother in a calming voice
"Yes mommy" said the child
the mother walks out of the room and closes the door. The closet door opens from the inside, it's the child rose. She stares at her bed, confused, who the hell did her mother just talked to? the person under the sheets starts to sit, it's rose as well but, her face is disfigured, blood came out of her eyes, "AAH" rose starts to scream in horror, a pendant with a carving of a pentagram and a goat head falls from her hand and slides under the bed.

John starts his daily routine, which is nothing apparently. Wake up, eat, sleep, wake up, drink, sleep, on and on again. Sometimes the church calls him to do an exorcism, but he only does it when he really wants to, and often doesn't. Evaline really wants john to use his powers for good, that's why she's been patching him up with the local church.
Since st louise, evaline always thought there's good inside of him, yes he killed those kids and nun, but she knew john was not himself and he felt guilty since. She took care of him, she usually helps children but seeing how broken john is makes her relate to him. Her father was a loving father, a complete contrast of her mother. Her mother was a drug addict and an abusive parent. Since her father died, her mother's abuse only gotten worse, but she always loved her mother and hopes that she could be saved, so she made a deal with the devil to help her mother and begged him to stop the abuse. The devil grants her wish, by giving her mother a tumor. She vow vengeance against the devil.
The devil said to her, that deep down he knows that her mother's death is what she really wanted, so she can stop the abuse and put her out of her misery. And that's exactly what happened. Her mother died. Since then, she tried to help people with addiction with her powers, then she became a doctor that specializes in cancer.
"Jesus christ john wake up!" Screamed evaline.
"I gave you ton of job interviews and you didn't come, do you know how that made me looked?" Said evaline in anger
"Igh chill up luv i have a job interview at walmart later at 2 pm" said john lazily
"its 6 PM john!" said evaline
"oh I thought it was early morning" said john pretending to be clueless.
"Father joseph will call you about a case later and you WILL come john" said evaline
"but.."
"a lot of people would still be alive and well if you decide to use your powers for good" interupts evaline "if you can't pay the bills at least help the community" then she slams the door.
A while later father joseph calls john for an exorcism on a little girl, because of the pressure from evaline, he accepts it. It was raining and dark, he knocks on the door of the house that father joseph addressed to him.
"Wasn't sure you'll come john, i'm proud of you son, let's hope god.." said father joseph
"lets stop the biblical shit and get to it yeah? I got a ton of shit to do" said john with a cigarette in his mouth
Father joseph is a pastor from the nearby church, he was a bald man in his 50's. they entered a room of a child named rose. She's straped on her bed, her eyes were yellow with her mouth puking blood and her face full of scratches. Father joseph starts to chant bible pages and john is trying to use the less powerful white magic that mozz's use.
"Hello there john" says rose with demonic voice "you had vow your loyalty to hell john. How's that slut evaline doing eh?"
"Tell me your name demon" said john
"jonathan HAHAHA!" Mocks the demon.
When father joseph read another prayer from the bible, rose screamed even harder and started puking more blood . The the demon starts to pray joseph's prayers at the same time, mocking him
"Joseph son of keith, you are not a believer, god is not here to save her, she's mine!" Said the demon
"She's not yours demon!" Yelled father joseph
"maybe not, tell me something john, do you find it suspicious how fast the church responded to this call? Does the church even know you're here?" Said the demon
John did find it suspicious, none of the family is a member of the church, and the church needs proof of possession or paranormal activity to send a priest to do an exorcism.
"Do you know why john? Because joseph here has been a naughty naughty boy" mocks the demon
"shut up demon! do not spread your lies!" said joseph concern
"LIES!?, LIE IS ALL YOU DO FATHER!" Yell the demon
Father joseph looked even more concern
"do you really think he's here for the greater good? He's here to save his little precious daughter! HAHAHAHA" mocks the demon again
john's snapped his neck in shock "what is he talking about?!" Asked john to father joseph but he refuses to answer "explain yourself demon!"
"Little rose here is his little bastard daughter, looks like father joseph isn't so pure afterall" mocks the demon
"don't listen to him" said father joseph.
"Father joseph had some fun with mama rose aparently HAHAHAH" mocks the demon again and again
"I said shut up you son of a bitch" shout father joseph
"ohh of course she is HAHAHA" mock the demon again.
"Alright that's it" john telling father joseph "we do this my way"
"only god can save her now john! we need His help!" Said father joseph
"Fuck god, just like he said, god is not here" john stares at the demon
"maybe I can't command you demon, maybe god is not here, but I know damn well who will"
John's getting tired of his insults and his the weak magic. he breaks the church's rule. He conjured another demon, azazeth, a very powerful demon. Lucifer's right hand. "No!" Shout father joseph. In iritation john pushed him out of the window. He might've broke his ankle a bit, it's not that high he thought to himself.
"Azazeth I conjure you and I demand you to drag that demon back to hell" command john
"YOU DO NOT COMMAND ME MORTAL! I'll take a soul to help you john, and since you already did I'll take him back to his place" said the demon
"what? Whose soul?" Ask john confuse.
Then rose scream on top of her lungs then it ends. Rose ran to her mom crying. John walks towards the mother and said
"you should tell her the truth, the longer you wait the worse it might get" John walks out of the house, lighting a cigarette.
Then he looks for father joseph, he found him, laying dead on the side of the house with a broken neck. "Sorry mate but you brought this upon yourself" Then he walks home. But it doesn't end there, no one knows that rose is now marked by hell. John's clumsiness and carelessness had taken the life of father joseph.
