(Sakusa's pov)
I had just gotten back to the castle when Emiko stormed towards me. "There's this nasty little creature in the woods. I need you to kill it"
She said angrily. I simply rolled his eyes, "My father wouldn't be happy if he found you dead in the woods" I muttered.
"I want him dead by tomorrow morning! And you must take the guards with you. If you don't kill it they will" she exclaimed
"Well, would you mind informing me on this thing you want killed" I replied, my anger level rising each second.
"The ugly blonde Yōkai you were in the woods with"
My eyes widened when he heard that. She had been following him? And she did NOT just call his Atsu ugly. And wait- she wanted him dead?! "There is no reason to kill him" I argued.
"You seem to have a romantic liking to him. But your marrying me now so we can't have that~" she tried to reason. "The guards go tonight. And I want you to be the one who shoots him or else the guards will take matters into their own hands"
(No one's pov)
The guards and Sakusa headed to the woods that night. Atsumu was waiting for Sakusa because he told him they needed to talk
Sakusa hid behind a tree. With great difficulty he brought his arrow up and shot.
He quickly realized just what he had done and ran towards Atsumu and cradled his body
"Omi... how could ya"
"I know, I didnt want to"
"But yet you still did it"
"I- I'm sorry, I'll always love you though... my beautiful Atsu"
"I love you too... Omi, tell Samu and Rin I'm gonna miss them"
And right then, right there Atsumu Miya closed his eyes, never to be opened again.
