part 2

The last words of Abhi echoed in the main hall. Akshara composed herself to finally reveal about the dreadful news to her husband who had been away for some meeting all this while and after a mutual decision, Neil and she had decided to hide it from him as they didn't want him to be tensed and affect his meeting.

But now she had to face the situation which she never did want to but she had to, they were a family after all.

She looked at Abhi confusingly, not sure of to where to start from.

"Abhi" she said calmly in a second stopping her body from shivering

"Aaro- Aarohi" she said while taking a deep breath while Abhi as a try to comfort her tried to motivate her to speak further by giving a yes to each word that she uttered, he was stuck at such a point where his anxiousness was overpowering his calmness

Akshu's silence, her cries, her denial was something that was scaring him all this while, he was afraid.

"Akshu, please could you speak it out all at once, I am really tensed" He said while caressing her face lightly

Akshara looked at Abhimanyu, realizing the fact that how she had been scaring him and noticing the tension on his face, she finally gathers the courage to reveal what had happened in their home in his absence

"Aarohi - sh - she left us" she cried while speaking these words

Abhi confusingly looked at her

"Akshu, she must be somewhere out, why are you so tensed - please calm down , I'll call her, don't worry" he said not realising what the fearful words of akshu really meant

"Ab- Abhi" Akshara merely spoke these words in her cries

"Akshu you are worrying uselessly" He said while releasing her hands and taking out his phone to dial Aarohi's number

"AAROHI COMMITTED SUICIDE, Abhimanyu" Akshara almost yelled these words before collapsing on the floor with merciless tears flowing down

And that was all. Abhimanyu froze at his position, his pupil dilated and his lips parted in shock

What on earth was happening, he couldn't believe his own ears. How could Aarohi just do that. How. were the thoughts going through his mind when suddenly something strikes him

"Neil" he said out of shock but right now his prime duty was Akshara, his wife, who wasn't in a state to be left alone

"Akshara" he said while getting down to her level and engulfed her into his embrace while gently rubbing her back to calm her down

Millions of questions were running through his mind and all he wanted was an answer to each one of his question but all he knew was that it wasn't the right time

After thirty minutes he was finally able to calm down Akshara but still some sobs escaped from her mouth, he carried her upto their bedroom and made her lay on the bed

"I

am with you" these were the only words Abhi spoke while his eyes were all moist as he knew how it felt on loosing someone dear

He layed beside her and entangled his one hand into her and rested the other one on her head while giving her gentle pats that would help her to be asleep soon

There was silence, none of them spoke anything and just stared at each other with their eyes full of moisture and soon they both fell asleep

Neil was caressing the last remains, the last memories of his dear wife Aarohi with all love and affection

He looked at each and every dress of her and recalled how pretty she looked in each one of them, every time he saw her, he could only think of keeping her forever close to him as his precious gift of life, she meant more than the world to him but now everything changed

He lost her, he lost his happiness, he lost his soul

He picked a dress from her wardrobe which he had gifted her on their first wedding anniversary, how happy were they and how happy was she - he thought

Tears had been flowing now, he couldn't hold on more, he took out a big suitcase and slowly started packing her clothes in it when suddenly he noticed something falling down from them

What could it be? He thought and bent down on his knees to pick it up
