Chapter 4 - Bonding

------Aonung's POV ------

I was peacefully sleeping until Tuk woke me up from my sleep. "Aonung! Can you come play with me and the other Metkayina kids, " Tuk asked with puppy eyes and a joyful smile. I look behind her before answering and I see Neteyam. He waved at me and I waved back to him and said, "sure but is your brother playing to? " "Oh Neteyam? Yeah he's going to play since Kiri and Lo'ak are with mom getting food. " Tuk grabbed my hand and held it tight while she begs. "Fine Tuk I'm going I'm going. " She let's go of my hand a starts jumping with joy. She's so adorable when she's happy.

I ended up leaving my pod and before I could even take another step, Tuk grabbed my hand and started to run towards the other kids. I look behind me and saw Neteyam laughing his ass off. "Aonung can you help me build a sand castle, " one of the kids ask. "Neteyam can you give me a ride on your ikran? " I heard one of the kids ask forest boy.

We were all playing and then I was pushed into the water by Neteyam... "Sorry it was a dare from one of the kids," he yelled, that was the last thing I heard before splashing into the water. I rose up from the water with an angry but annoyed look on my face.

I go back to building the beautiful sand castle me, Tuk, and one other little boy were making. I wait a few minutes before going up behind Neteyam while he was distracted by the kids and picked him up and dumped him in the water. "You stupid-" He was cut off by the splash of water when he hit it.

He walked angrily towards me and playfully pushed me to the ground. I deserved that. I got up and said, "that's not fair you pushed me in the water, I dropped you nicely." He smiled at me and left. He walked back over to the kids he was playing with. I go back to building the giant sand castle. "Go get Neteyam, Aonung, " Tuk said to me. "Why? " "Cause I need to ask him something. " She was still continuing on the castle.

I walk over behind Neteyam and one of the kids pointed at me. Neteyam turned around and looked me dead in the eyes. "What Aonung. " "Tuk wanted to ask you something so could you go over there with her? " "Sure." Before we left he said to the kids, "I'll be back soon. " They all said okay and he said, "Lead the way, prince. " "Prince? " I questioned. "Yeah Prince. You like it? " I stopped walking and paused. Then he stopped walking and turned around to face me. "What? Don't like it? " "No, it's not that. " "Then what? " "I love the word prince coming from you. " Neteyam started to blush and also looked away from me.

I made him look at me by turning his head by his chin. But he still didn't look at me. "Look at me Neteyam. " He looked at me for a short minute then looked around. "Neteyam." I got closer to him, our lips an inch apart. I look around to see if anyone was around. I saw nobody around so I made a decision that I don't regret. I looked back at Neteyam and he look at me this time without having to force him to look at me. I leaned closer to him and kissed him. Everytime I kiss him, it always feels like my first kiss with him. I love that feeling.

He pulled away after awhile and asked me, "So can you lead me to my sister please? " "Yes I can my love." We walk back over to Tuk and she asks him if he can help build another part of the castle. He said he could and he starts helping. I sat next to him and I help him with the castle.

It's getting dark and most of the kids went back to their pods, including Tuk. While me and Neteyam continued to work on the castle. We spent all night on this sand castle for Tuk. We didn't talk much because we were mostly focused on building the castle. It was already morning and we had finally finished... "There it's done.. " Neteyam said with a yawn. "Tired? " I asked him with a small smile. "Yeah, I mean we spent all night building the rest of this sand castle or my little sister. " he explained. "It's alright she'll love it, " I reassured him. I moved over next to Neteyam and he put his head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around him and put my head on his head.

"Let's go get Tuk, " I told Neteyam. "Yea let's get her before it falls. " We both get up and walk away from the sand castle. We walk all the way to Neteyam's families pod. He goes in and I wait outside, he comes back out with an excited Tuk and a tired Kiri. Lo'ak is still asleep but he's not important right now. I bent down so I'd be the same height as Tuk and I ask her "Are you excited to see the sand castle me and your brother made for you? " "YES! " She said with excitement coursing through her veins.

Neteyam picked up Tuk and started running to the place that we built the sand castle. Me and Kiri followed behind. When we all got there Neteyam put down Tuk and covered her eyes. Kiri and him walked Tuk to the front of the castle. Neteyam put his hand down allowing Tuk to see what we had made. "Neteyam... Aonung.... You actually made it!! IT SO BEAUTIFUL!! " The sand castle we made had a normal structure of a sand castle, but as we were building it I put little shells on the sides and the top of every cone shaped roof. "The shells are so pretty! " Tuk screamed. Me and Neteyam were standing side by side when all of a sudden Tuk runs up to us and hugs us tightly and said Thank you over and over again.

She finally let's go of us and runs over to Kiri and says, " Kiri isn't is beautiful! " "Yes it looks amazing. " Me and Neteyam look at each other and looked away. I decided to grab his hand behind us so Tuk and Kiri couldn't see our hands. I glance over at him and he was smiling. So cute. Even though Kiri already knows we like each other, it's still best for us to try and keep it a secret from Tuk. She can be a tattletale sometimes, but who can blame her, she has 3 older siblings and cant do all the things they get to do. Like ride a Ikran, and go off on her own.

I feel like I need to say this now so in the future I don't have to explain this again. I know I take forever to update this story but that's because I started because I was bored and didn't see much of Neteyam x Aonung story's out there on this app. I had no idea of what I was gonna write after the first 3 chapters. When I make a chapter I also get more ideas for further chapters while writing the one I have to put out first. I already have an idea for chapter 5 but it's gonna take some time also because I sometimes change the ideas over and over. That is what happened with this chapter... Just wanted to put this out there for y'all to know about. But anyways I love y'all and thank you for all the support and allowing me to continue this story! ♡♡♡
