Chapter 9: Northern Vale Palace

Just as the moon sets and the sun rises, Lisa gently opened her eyes and saw nobody there beside her.

"As I expected."

She looked around and noticed that she was back in her room. It seemed that he carried her here. 

Lisa stood up and got ready before leaving her room. She ran upon Rose as she was exiting her room; she appeared to have just awoken from sleep. She noticed the dark circles in Rose's eyes and she couldn't help but ask, "Did you not get enough sleep?". 

Rose pouted her lips and nodded. "Yes, I heard loud noises last night but I don't know where it came from... Although, it sounded like moans, Master." Rose yawned.

"I-I heard it too! Erm.. I-it was probably just some animals!"

Rose shrugged, "I guess so..." Rosé then excused herself.

Lisa run off to her room and quickly closed the door, her hand trembled as it covered her face out of embarrassment.

'Was I that loud last night?' She thought.

"Fuck." She brushed her hair back as she bit her lip and leaned her back on the wooden door.

"Don't do that. You're making me hard." Someone spoke in her ear which sent shivers down her spine. "Jungkook? Wh- You're here..." 

"Hmm," He hummed in response while his hand snaked around her waist and embraced her from behind. When she felt him kiss her neck, her knees buckled, "You're leaving today right?" Jungkook asked and blew a hot breath in her skin making her knees go weak. She leaned her head to the side to give him a better access of her slender neck. "Y-yes, we'll be departing later at noon."

"I see... though, It is quite unfortunate," He stopped kissing her neck, leaving her disappointed. 

"Are you going to miss me?" she couldn't help but ask, but she received no reply. She scoffed at her self for being a pathetic idiot. Lisa bit her lip and pushed him away, "I have to pack my things. You should go." She lowered her head to try to conceal the bitter-sweet thing that she was feeling. 

Lisa was about to walk past him but his hand suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards his chest. Jungkook put his hand on her cheek and gently caressed it. "I will miss you." He slowly leaned in and planted a kiss on her forehead. Her stomach fluttered, making her close her eyes and enjoyed the moment which she knew was only temporary. 

Lisa didn't know why, but it reminded her of the past.

Lisa's Pov

I dropped to my knees and coughed up a lot of blood. I had always imagined learning magic to be as simple as eliminating a man, but here I was.

'You've experienced far worse, so stand.'  I reminded myself.

Even though I was in a lot of pain, I got up in my feet. When my body made touch with the ground once more, I groaned in pain.

An unknown voice had suddenly come out of nowhere, "You're going to die if you keep straining your core any more longer." I tried to locate where the voice had come from by looking all around, but I was unable to do so.

The pain became too intolerable that I lost consciousness.

Before I blacked out, I saw that man coming toward me.

I woke up and found myself in an unfamiliar room. I tried to sit up but the sudden pain stopped me from doing so.

" W-where am I?.. " I unconsciously asked myself.

"My house." I looked to my right, seeing a very handsome but unfamiliar man. " You should rest. Your body should heal after about a week or two. " I frowned as I stared at him. 

He had a different aura that made me feel a ton of pressure, and I can't feel his presence everytime his around. There was something about this man that made me feel uneasy.

"W-who are you? " I asked as I felt an instensive aura coming from the man. "Jungkook." He answered and walked out of the room leaving me dumbfounded.

The air blew past her skin as she fluttered her eyes open, he was no where to be seen. Again..

It had only been 6 minutes since they had been in each others embrace. As she closed her eyes earlier, she had counted how long they were in togethers embrace.

"Master, we are about to depart," Rose announced and she only responded with a hum.

"I'll miss you too..." She pursed her lips and slowly closed her eyes.

In her past life she was an emotionless freak who only cared about her lover who soon betrayed her. Now in her present life; although she should have avoided doing the same thing again, she did the exact opposite. She fell in love with a man she didn't really know of, except that he was powerful and somewhat... noble.

I loaded my bags onto the carriage and turned to face the place where I had spent the past two years living and training.

I glanced at Rose and nodded when she announed,"We are about to depart, Master." 

I got inside the carriage with a heavy heart.

I made myself get comfortable in my seat and waited for the carriage to depart.

Sometime later,

The carriage departed and I looked out the window, the side of my lip slowly lifted into a smirk. I couldnt see him nor feel his presence but I knew he was watching me from afar.

"Where to, master?" Rośe asked which made me turn to her.

"Northern Vale Palace." I replied. My ruby eyes glistened when the ray of light flashed through it. Her eyes had a hint of murderous intent and to who ever saw it got a frightened.

Rośe couldnt help but notice Lisa's change over the years. It wasn't just terrifying.

Lisa looked outside the window once more. Her destination was getting nearer by the minute, which means 'It's almost time for revenge...'
