I know that not all ARMYs who do not ship Taekook as a couple should be called ANTIs. I define Taekook ANTIs as ARMYs or non-ARMYs who hate the fact that Taekook are being romantically shipped and work through social media to downplay any evidence that Taekook are a couple. And they get aggressive with it. I want to briefly discuss their claims because we will refute all of these in the chapters to come.

Here are some of the things ANTIs do and say to accomplish their goal of minimizing the romanticism surrounding Taekook.

| ONE |
They pretend to take a higher road.
You can find comments on social media platforms where they make the accusation that Taekook should not be shipped together because it is in disrespect to their craft. In other words we should just like their music and don't try to ship them. I agree they need their privacy, but I'm sure they understand that because they flirt publicly, we the public respond by believing them and loving them.

| TWO |
They emphasize Korean culture.
I know that the culture of each country is unique. I've learned that boys in Korea have a habit of touching each other; sitting in each other's laps; sleeping in the same bed; cuddling each other; holding hands; and so on. I believe they call it skinship. While I believe that some of Taekook's actions are a result of their culture, when you add up everything else the couple does, this argument doesn't fit. I'll talk more about those things later.

By the way, if the skinship is so normal for BTS, then why was Jin looking slightly alarmed when he noticed fetus Taekook having a hand to skin moment. JK was rubbing Tae's leg. Check the video out here⬇️

Taekook just provide great fan service.
I agree with this belief but disagree how it is misused. I know K-pop groups typically offer addicting fan service. They love to dish it and we love to watch it. But Taekook off camera hits different! Not all they offer is fan service.

| FOUR |
Shipping Taekook destroys their friendship and makes them uncomfortable with each other.
WHEN? The way they are always touching and interacting with each other (whether fan service or not) proves they are not uncomfortable. The fanfics and some hard stan edits may make them uncomfortable. But I don't see where they feel some type of way being shipped. Even on VLive together they read aloud some "Taekook" comments and not once did they say they were uncomfortable and to stop shipping them. Also, some ANTIs put out that they hadn't been friends anymore because of the shipping. Apparently, Jimin helped Taehyung set up a dinner date with him and Kook. (First of all, I believe that whole video was the company trying to spin the Taekook drama and I'll talk about that later.) How is it that they were working together but not talking or seeing each other? Come on ANTIs, do better! If they were really uncomfortable, they wouldn't offer the flirty fan service and get mad when people believe it.

They twist Taekook's words.
One of the main quotes from Tae that ANTIs use is when he supposedly had been talking about his being shipped with JK, he said and I paraphrase "get that out of your imagination. It is not good." This statement was supposed to been made by Tae in 2019 and was taken totally out of context but is constantly quoted as if it were a true fact. First of all, 2023 just started as I'm writing and so if that statement was true back then, it may not be the case right now. If they were offering Taekook fan service in concerts, etc...as a part of their job as K-pop idols, why would Tae tell people not to believe the fan service or "get it out of your head." Does that make sense?

Hybe is suing people who put out false information about Taekook being a couple.
This is also not true. There was a situation with a sansaeng or paparazzi who put out fake photos and theory of Tae and Jenny from BlackPink being at locations together. The rumor or report states that Hybe was looking into taking action against that person(s). Again, it was about Tae and Jenny, not Tae and Kook.

Taekook has said to stop shipping them.
All I wanna know is when? Every time I see this as a comment on a Taekook video, I always ask for a link where either one has said this. It's simply not true or it's not on the internet anywhere because I've looked high and low and can't find that statement.

| EIGHT |
Jikook is the couple because they are together a lot in South Korea.
I made the statement that it could be that since Jimin and Kook are besties, they are not worried about being in public. I believe that VMinKook are great friends. Obviously, Jimin and Kook would go places together. And they don't have to hide. But have you noticed that when Taekook go somewhere together it's a covert operation lol. They have to be private about it. I know people don't want to believe it, but I think the k-companies discourage public dating. It's bad for business. It would kill the shipping that comes with fan service and shipping band members makes money. So there is no way that Taekook can be as public as JiKook. Again, I believe VMinKook are a close threesome. If Jikook were a couple, then why did Kook just tell him "Jaman, happy birthday Bro"? I've even heard the argument that Jimin's dad has pictures of Jimin and Jk on the family's restaurant's wall(s). And I was like "duh, they are both from Busan! And Jimin is his son!" And even though I have this belief that JiKook are not a couple, you will never see where I work overtime putting down people who ship JiKook. That's their opinion and I respect them for it while agreeing to disagree.

They are not gay.
No offense, but some of these ANTIs are low-key homophobic.

Some ANTIs are Y/Ns.
The BANGTAN boys are heartthrobs. So it hurts some fans when they are shipped together romantically. Young girls (and guys) have dreams of one day meeting them and dating them. If they are in a relationship, then that ends the possibilities. In the mind of the y/n-ers, the more they deny that Tae and Kook are romantically involved, their chances increase to be chosen as a mate by one of the boys. I'm so sorry when bubbles have to be burst, but that's something that they need to get out of their head. Bless their little ARMY hearts💔.

Well we've gotten all the ANTIs viewpoints out of the way. Now that we have discussed what the opposing thinkers say about Taekook, we can talk more about why people like me ship them romantically.
