ATLAS AXEL

I grab my baby pick Nike sneakers examining  them before putting them on. I look in the mirror examining my outfit.

My black tank top goes well with the fitting  blue jeans I pared with my sneakers and a blue denim coat.

Alessa and I are visiting a children's home-one that she knows inside and out- I am so excited!

I Finish packing up before heading downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning Mama,"I say,  walking to the door to drop my bag there.

"Morning sweetheart,"Mama says with a proud grin."When are you going to be back?" She asks serving fruit on four plates.

"Monday Afternoon," I smile innocently."Your missing school on Monday," She says but at the same time it is a question.

"Mama I promise it's worth it,"I say and attempt to make the cutest look over and Mama looks at me.

"You look phenomenal Atlas," She says running her hands through my curled hair. At Least she noticed.

"Thanks," I say feeling my cheeks  heat up. Not that you would notice easily. "Morning," Papa says smiling cheekily at me.

"Morning," I smile  and attempt to make the cutest face. "Atlas, be careful, and make sure to take care of yourself," Papa says and smiles at me.

It worked.

"It didn't work,"He clarifies and I roll my eyes playfully which he Dismisses. 

"Good morning," Ant says, taking a seat opposite me.

I smile cheekily stepping on his toe.If he wasn't wearing slacks I would kill him with food.

I laugh inwards knowing,I wouldn't  go to that extent.

"You did not,"Ant glares at me before sipping  the content in his cup. I look at Mama and papa who are staring at us.

I smile innocently before dining into my breakfast.

Alessa squeals excitedly as we approach the small beautiful three story house.

I notice a black Cadillac Suv parked by the side.It looks familiar.

Of course a lot of people would have this car.

"Please," A middle aged woman-In her late forties-says coming out of the wooden house says hinting at my suitcases. 

"Alessa,"The lady's eyes light up when she notices Alessa, who smiles sweetly "Lilith,"Alessa acknowledges going in for a hug.

After a few minutes of Alessa,Lilith and I exchanging words. An older man comes into view taking our bags.

I step inside the house and look around. It's cute. Immediately you enter there's a small corridor with a shoe rack and jacket rack where we placed our shoes.

I follow Alessa who's following Lilith into a beautifully decorated living room. My heart beats faster at the sight in front of me.

Styx is seated on the chair with two small kids on each of his lap.Conversing-he's so gentle.

The other kids have formed a puddle around him listening to what he has to say.

"Stige,"Lilith calls smiling sweetly at him, He acknowledges our presence  and his gaze snaps to mine.

I look away and glare at Alessa and she gives me an innocent smile.

I avert my gaze to the little boy with hazel orbs clutching onto my right leg.
