ATLAS AXEL

I hold onto my pencil feeling the urge to combust into flames. I have been with Papa in his office since I came home.

Papa is helping me revise for my exams. The feeling of thinking I'll fail scares me  because  I wouldn't want to repeat a year of high school.

"At," Papa acknowledges entering his office with two mugs."Papa."I let out exhausted, sending him a smile.

He sits at his side of his desk pushing one mug to me. I smile seeping on the coffee.

"Aage made it."Papa says, putting on his glasses and diverting his attention  to some papers on his desk. I nod appreciating Aages kind gesture.

His office is adequate and cozy, his desk I'd in the middle of the room adorned with paperwork and a stack of pens.

There are two chairs in front of his desk matching the black table. 

The right side of his room has a large window creating a vibrant mood and two medium bookshelves against the wall.There's two cozy sofas in the corner of the library and a small coffee table.

On the left side of his office is another window and some plants by the window and shelf  9n the corner of his office.

"It's getting so hard." I whisper clutching onto the pen, I feel like giving up but then again how can I give up on years of work.

"At." Papa says once my eyes make contact with him. "You're going to ace that exam, just remember what you have been learning in math for the past years."

I smile weakly finishing up in the equations Papa had given me. When I'm done I hand the book to him.

"Finish up your coffee and get your physics book ?"He asks, averting his gaze from my math book to my physics book.

I nod, taking my phone from Papa's desk. I click on Alessa's message.

Alessa

Finished a few minutes ago. 
I'm so exhausted. Coffee?

I look at the message puzzled but decide to reply.

Just finished. Tommorows great.

I walk out of Papa's office and head to my bedroom to take my physics book. I take some time and stretch before heading back to papa's office.

"I Finished yesterday."I say, putting my phone aside. "Gute Arbeit," Papa says, handing my book back to me.

(Good work)

I look at the equations and they are all correct, I smile with relief washing over me. 

"Here." Papa passes me a physics question  paper. I analyze the questions and begin to answer them.

…

"Good morning."Aage says his eyes beaming with happiness as he walks over to me giving me a kiss on my forehead.

Aage then proceeds to help Mama set the table."Morning sweetheart." Mama says when I approach her.

I mumble a morning back and kiss her cheek. "Your father said he'll drop you to school."she says placing a glass jug of juice on the table.

I smile appreciatively and sit down. I serve some fruits on my plate and take a glass, pouring myself some water.

"Atlas, Don't stress." Mama says, smiling at me "I know you're going to do well." She says kissing my cheek.

I finish my breakfast and excuse myself. I head upstairs and  grab a pair of black sneakers.

Today I settled with a white fitting shirt and a black fitting jeans that frame my curves well. To finish the outfit I wore a black hoodie.

I put on my sneakers and then walk to my closet to grab a black sweater and pack it into my bag.

I ensure everything  needed for the exam is packed. 

"Yes." I inquire when I hear a soft knock on my door. Aage steps in and walks to me . He embraces me in a hug.

"You're  going to do an amazing  Atlas." He whispers and I feel a little uncomfortable but shrug it off.

"Oh and Jese is calling for you." He kisses my forehead before leaving. I take my bag and head down stairs.

"Morning Papa."I say embracing  him into a hug. "Morning. Are you ready?"He asks and I give him a cheeky smile.

"Mama where's Ant?"I ask concerned . I haven't seen Ant in a while. "Left early. "She says emerging from the kitchen to hug me.

"Thanks papa" I mumble when he closes the door for the passenger's seat. He's always been a gentleman.

"Remember the trick?" He asks, as he removes the car from  the parking lot. "I do, you look worried than me." I joke lightheartedly to lighten the mood.

"Look who's talking." He says laughing. I chuckle softly and prepare to exit the car.

I kiss Papa's  cheek before bidding him goodbye.

"You've got this Atley." He says before I get out of the car I send him an appreciative  smile before closing the door.

"Atley."  I turn around and see Alessa leaning  on a black range with styx standing beside her.

His hair is styled neatly. He is wearing a white Button up and black pants with black sneakers.

His muscles flex as he takes a drag from the cigarette he is holding simultaneously using his phone.

His eyes meet mine  and he takes another drag before throwing the cigarette  down and extinguishing it with his shoes.

"Nox"I acknowledge smiling. His green eyes are mesmerizing and  the moles of his face never fail to amaze me.

His gaze lingers on mine for a while before he gives me a nod of acknowledgment.

Alessa pulls my hand and I follow her into  of the entrance before we disappear  into the building she shows her middle finger to styx 

We chuckle as we head into the  direction  of the hall where everyone is taking their exams.

"I'll put this in my locker then meet you here?"Alessa inquires and I nod walking to my locker.

I put my bag and grab the exam materials. I remove my hoodie and put on my sweater in case they don't allow hoodies.
