Your POV
After calling the clean-up crew and giving them instructions on what to do, I led Miss Romanoff to the car and drove us back to the mansion as it was almost midnight.

"Why didn't you tell me what your plan was, Miss Romanoff? I had to go searching for you." I said to break the silence as it was still some way back. It was getting uncomfortable with the silence as there was nothing for her to work on.

"It wouldn't be fun, would it?" I saw her shrug her shoulders from the rear view mirror. "Were you going to ditch me?"

Everything is about fun for her...

"I would never do that Miss Romanoff."

---

Once I passed the gate of the manor, the people in the house were notified of our return. The servants were not allowed to sleep unless Miss Romanoff had gone to bed or been ordered by one of us. Bucky was waiting outside to escort Miss Romanoff to retire in her room while I parked the car.

I groaned as I stepped out of the car, clutching my torso. Looking back at the seat that was soaked with my blood. There was no way I was going to be able to clean that up. I shut the door and locked the garage, making sure no one could enter, not even Miss Romanoff.

I stopped at the kitchen as there was a spare med kit and I didn't want to make a bloody mess on the way up. Thank goodness my uniform was tight, placing pressure on the wound. I took off my top half leaving my bra on. After pouring the antiseptic onto a cotton wool I dabbed it all over the wound and wincing at the sting.

It was kinda hard doing it alone when I couldn't see the wound properly, I was looking down and stretching my head as far as possible to have a better look. Using the tweezers, I pulled the bullet out and I had a limited time to stitch my wound.

"What are you doing? What happened?" I lifted my head and Bucky was making his way in front of me. "You got shot?" He began rummaging through the first aid kit to take out a string and needle and helped me stitch my wound.

"Thanks Bucky." I relaxed slightly and let him take over.

"Am I hurting you?" He asked, glancing up quickly before looking at the wound again.

I shook my head. "No it's fine, continue."

Since it was just a small bullet wound, Bucky stitched it up quickly before wrapping up with a bandage around my waist.

"Thank Bucky, have a good rest." I tapped his shoulder before heading to my room to rest. Within minutes, the entire mansion was sleeping.

---

The next morning, I woke up early to get ready and purchased a new car online and made sure it got delivered to the house that Miss Romanoff was heading to today. It was only on special occasions that she would stay at the mansion. She never liked staying here as it was too big for her liking with the few people in it.

I went to wake Miss Romanoff up like usual every morning, preparing her coffee and breakfast for her. Presenting her with two choices of attire for her day before allowing her to change in privacy. While she's munching on her breakfast, I brief her on the schedule for the day before making the arrangement to leave.

"Make sure the place is well taken care of." I instructed the servants that were remaining behind to maintain the place. "I do not want to see this place in a mess when we are back." After giving them one final run down of things to do while I was gone, I went to the front to place the bags in the truck of our car.

"Y/N, you are still hurt, I can do it. Go and get Miss Romanoff." Bucky came over and took the bags away from my hands. He was going to follow us to the house as it was part of his job scope.

"Thanks Bucky." Bucky has always been a great help around. It was tough breaking him into the role but we got there eventually. I still remember when I tried teaching him how to peel potatoes and we ended up eating fish and chips that day because he didn't know when to stop peeling.

"Miss Romanoff, ready when you are." I said from outside her office door. Everything was prepared except for her presence. I've made the mistake of making her wait and it wasn't a pleasant punishment I've received.

She opened the door and appeared in front of me all ready to go with her famous demeanor that everyone knows. Without saying anything, she walked towards the front porch and I sped walk the last couple of steps to open the door for her.

"Bucky is going in a separate car." I informed Miss Romanoff as I got into the driver's seat and prepared to leave. She only hummed and I checked using the rear mirror that she was ready before bringing the car to life.

It was going to be quite a long journey back to the apartment in New York so we made some pit stops along the way. "Would you like to have one more stop or drive the remaining two hours back, Miss Romanoff?" I asked my master sitting at the back.

"Just get it over and done with." She replied.

"Certainly." I continued driving, passing the rest stop that I had planned to take for the journey.

After a few moments of silence, Miss Romanoff spoke up again. "Where's your other car?" She asked, knowing that I prefer to take the other car as I've had it since the beginning

"It was time for a change, so I bought a new one. It will be delivered to the house." She hummed, satisfied after hearing my answer.

After two hours we finally reached the apartment where Bucky was already waiting for us outside. I had given him some of our baggage so he had them inside in respective rooms. I threw the car keys to Bucky as I opened the door for Miss Romanoff.

She took a while surveying the surroundings before walking in. Standing behind her, I looked over her shoulders to see the Director of SHIELD, Nick Fury, himself in our living room.

"Mr Fury." I greeted while placing down the remaining bags to the side and serving our unannounced guest.

Miss Romanoff walked over and sat at the opposite end of the living room. "What are you doing here, Fury? Surely not just to welcome me back." She said with confidence as she knew she was one of her best assets.

Bucky could have done me a favour by informing me that he was sitting inside the house. I probably looked like a criminal seeing a police closing in when I saw him there. "Coffee." I stated as I placed it in front of him before serving Miss Romanoff.

She waved her hands and I stepped out of the room to check if Bucky needed help.

There was always someone doing the upkeep of the house so there wasn't much tidying up to do except for updating Miss Romanoff's closet. Taking her bags up to her room, I began placing them in the closet and sorted out her bedsheets before moving on to her office.
