Is There Ever a Way Out?

Chapter 10

I snapped awake, confused and senseless for a moment. When everything settled to normal, I looked at myself and my surroundings. I was in a white room, kind of like the lab one but different. I saw what seemed to be guards in a balck and yellow uniform. I looked at myself, and saw that I was wearing something similar to the lab clothing I had on, only it was black and the seams were yellow.

I then noticed that there were scientists, and I made abrupt eye contact with one of them for a second. They then pulled up a walkie talkie and said, ' She's awake. ' and put it down and went back to whatever he was doing. A minute or two later a door opened, and a group of three of four entered. The majority of them seemed like officials, but one was in what seemed to be thin-ish yellow & black armor.

' You guys can leave. ' said the armored one. They left, and it was just us too, except for the two guards at the door. He then made direct eye contact at me, and started to approach me. I slightly flinched when he made eye contact, and it was kept until he was up by me. ' You weren't supposed to wake up yet. ' he said.

I just glanced away for a second, unsure on how to respond. He looked at the scientist and said, ' How much longer until more of the gas can be prepared? ' ' 2 minutes. ' responded the scientist, who then seemingly started to aggressively do some things and say some inaudible things.

' You're probably confused on why you're here, ' he said. ' And I might as well tell you with the time we have left. ' ' Uhm, yeah. It would help a lot. ' I responded, with a slightly sarcastic tone. ' Anyways, ' he said. ' I will introduce myself I guess. You've met me before, just not in this rather pathetic human form. You remember those Ghidorah heads from earlier? ' ' Yeah. ' I responded. ' Well, I am one of them. I'd say I'm the most powerful out of all of them, but that's for later debate. '

This guy was a kaiju in a humanoid form? I doubted this heavily, since it was an absurd thought. Then I thought about all of the recent events and saw how realistic this was to me. ' But my actual name you'll know soon enough. ' he continued. ' Now, to get to the point. I'm sure the Morigon lab already told you about your power potential, now I'm here to fully explain it to you. You see, what they were testing with in the lab a few years ago can turn you into a kaiju. However, the kaiju you possess could be rather powerful. With that power on my side, my expedition on Earth could go rather successful. There will be side effects of it of course, but you will be at your full potential. '

I stared at him with disbelief. Yes, I understand I have the capability to become a kaiju, but on his side? I've seen what his intentions are, and they don't fit my likings. He looked back at the scientist and said, ' How much longer? ' ' 30 seconds. ' they responded. ' I deny your request. ' I said. ' I do not want to assist in whatever evil acts you are doing. I've seen what you did here, and I do not want any part in that. '

He smirked and replied, ' What a shame. It's too late anyways. Besides, you won't remember any of that once your mind has been wiped. You'll just mindlessly follow me. ' ' What! ' I said, shocked. ' What do you mean once my mind is wiped? Are you saying you're going to brainwash me or something? That's impossible with the technology we currently have! ' ' Tsk tsk. ' he said. ' There's much you don't know. Heh. '

' 10.....9.......8..... ' the scientist started counting down. ' S-surely I can get out of this! Humane rights and stuff.... ' I said, nervous. ' nope. ' he said. The scientist's countdown finished, and a gas filled the containment. I started to feel light headed, and things started to blur. ' You...won't get away with this. Justice will come to your wrongful wishes. ' He snickered and said, ' Heh, how sweet. Only if the world were fair to you. Night. '

Everything then went dark. I couldn't hear, see, or feel anything.
