My legs hesitated, should I check?.. "V-Valentine?"
No response, I'm afraid.
Inhale in and out, I have to see if he's okay. It's quiet, only the stream of water flowing against the tiles alongside my shallow breathing. It's like I'm the only person left alive.
I tug my towel, checking if it was secure. Maybe once more or twice..Took a few steps out the shower, my body shivers against the cold breeze causing my arm hair to erect.
"Valentine?" I whisper, hoping for some response. My eyes linger under the shower curtains, searching for his clumsy ass.
There he was, his foot heel poking out. Look like he fell. "Valentine." Once more I whisper, it's not like I don't like saying his name.
I pushed the curtain aside, squeezed my eyes shut to avoid gazing where the sun doesn't shine.Maybe I had peaked a little..
He groans, "Are you okay?" I grab a nearby towel, throwing it on his lap. He had cute shark underwear on. Valentine sat on the ground, the shower water continues pouring over his head.
"Hit my head." He stroke his forehead gently, it looked a little bloody.
I squat down in front of him. "Let me see." I grab his face, scanning every corner.
There was inches in-between us, his eyes lingered at mine. I could smell a sweet ropy fragrance of vanilla. My heart is about to beat out of my chest. "It doesn't seem too bad, just don't touch it." I say, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath out.
He says ,"I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what?" I giggled.
His finger touched my neck, and the wet hair as it was moved away nearly gave me the chills. Valentine eyes gazes down at my lips, he bite down on his.
He pulls me closer to him. Now the water was pouring on me also, I feel hypnotize staring into those green eyes.
Although I'm drenched, a sudden blast of warmth explodes across my body.
Val finger caress my neck then he says, "I love you Dawn." Our lips collide, my eyes widen.
His lips were warm and soft.
"W-Wait." I broke away but his lips met mine again. His arms wrapped around my waist, our bodies pressed together heatedly. "I'm so sorry Dawn."
He breathes heavily, latching his lips on my neck. "I-I'm not Dawn."My voice cracks.
"What are you talking abou-" Valentine eyes gazes up to mine, he freezes and his eyes widen realizing who I am.
"L-Luna." Valentine instantly unravel his arms around my waist, he skoochies back.. There was now distance in between us.
My heart suddenly hurts, tears fell from my eyes.
"Luna-"
"I'm so sorry Luna."
Valentine reaches his hand out to grab mine, my body flinches. "I-It's f-fine." I stutter, my hands were shaking.
The look of self disgust inflicted on his face, ashamed or even afraid also.
My body leaned against the wall supporting it to stand. Tears continue rolling down, I glance at him one last time before leaving the shower stall.
"Wait Luna!" Valentine repeatedly calls my name. "Please just stay there." I yelled. The locker room became silent, I hurriedly changed into the spare clothes Eve left behind and left the locker room.
Why does it hurt so much? Nothing even happened, stop it.
