Today, the bank was empty. Not sure why, though. However, that means that nobody would be there to trigger the silent alarm for robberies. On my left was a giant steel door. This must be the door to the vault. So, I grabbed the crowbar from my bag, and pryed the door slowly, but surely. After a few tries, the door gave up and dropped down, only to reveal another door behind it. Shucks.
So, I had no choice but to pry another door open again. It was the same thing as the previous door. The door fell down, with a loud metallic bang. However, nobody seems to hear it. So, I made my way through the door. It appears that there is another obstacle to the ultimate goal. A hallway full of lasers. These things looks ridiculously hot, so I tried my best for me and my bag to make it through the entire hallway. Sure, there are some burn marks here and there, but I still made it in one piece.
As I made it to the end of the hallway, I noticed there was another flight of stairs leading to a door. It has a sign, it says something along the lines of civilians needing an access card ready. Coincidentally, I still brought the same keycard that I sacked from that one guard I killed. I scanned the keycard, and to my surprise, it opened. So, you take what you can get. I went inside, and there was a set of lasers blocking six small vaults. Doesn't matter though, I can just crawl over it. The vaults doesn't seem to open to the keycard, so I decided to pry it open. Much to nobody's surprise, it let out an alarm on each one I forcefully opened. However, I think nobody heard it.
On each one of the vaults are money, of course, but there are things that are much more valuable, like trophies, and crowns?? These things are mad expensive! But there could be only so many before eventually I sacked all of the vaults. So, I made my way out of the little room, and onwards to the actual treasure. The big vault.
I tried to pry the door open, but to no avail. Guess this time I had to use the bomb Sepp gave me yesterday. I planted the bomb on the metal door, and took shelter. One click later, and...
Boom.
The entire place went loud with alarms blaring on every corner. I feel like this time, the police would definitely notice this one. Boom. Another bomb went off in the distance. I assume it's Dessy's doings. Nevertheless, I wasted no time grabbing the money and the gold bars inside of the vault.
Halfway through it though, I could hear a faint sound of police car sirens, and a voice of someone telling me to get out with my hands in the air. Absolutely not. As it turns out, the insider in the prison has failed to incite a riot. Left with no choice, I quickly finished clearing out the vault, and started preparing myself to face the police head on. I pulled out my gun from the almost full bag, and peeked the vault door. I was responded by a gunshot landing near my head. I immediately went back inside of the vault in fear.
But still, I had gone a bit too far to give up just now. I returned fire, which makes the police retreat a bit. I made my way to a corner, and started firing blindly. This time, they returned fire.
All I could hear for a solid ten seconds was pure gunfire. Shots being fired from the opposite sides, my ears was ringing. Still, I pushed on. I aimed my gun down the hallway, and the head of an unfortunate officer popped up. He would leave the bank in a body bag. With one of them down, they started using automatic rifles on me. With this, I was supposed to be more careful, no? Nope. I got shot on the left forearm. The shot was agonizingly painful, almost as if my arm was completely paralyzed.
Still, I pushed on. I tried to ignore the pain, and started shooting on whoever dared to show their heads on my iron sights. A genius officer thought it's a brilliant idea to rush me down with a shotgun. His gut would not be intact after this gunfight.
When the hallways were cleared, I made my way out of the hallways, only to be greeted by another volley of gunfire. I managed to narrowly dodge a blaze of it, and I hid behind the receptionist desks. After a fierce gunfight, the cops were forced to retreat, as they were running low on ammo and men. And just like that, the cops has scattered away.
But, they won't just go away like that. They would come for us again, I know. I then walked away from the bank, tossed my bag to the car, and waited for Dessy to return. Though, not long after, I heard the noise of someone falling down. It must be her, and I was right. She was groaning in pain, but I helped her into the car. We then got into the car, and went back to the warehouse, where Sepp would be waiting for our results.
