I'd like to say that being accepted into Hope's Peak Academy was the best thing that's ever happened to me.

I'd like to say the moment I walked through the doors my life turned outside down and I was finally granted a moment to do something with my life.

I'd like to say that I didn't have to commit murder just to graduate and leave school. If I were to get out of this situation alive, that's probably what I would tell everyone.

But if you were to ask another possible survivor, I think they'd tell you the opposite.

[Monokuma]: Puhuhu. I bet that got your brain juices flowing! As I said before, you guys are the hope of the world. But you know...Taking that hope and seeing it get murdered creates a darkened shadow of despair. And I just find that so...darn... exciting!

To that statement, Monokuma's eyes turned red out of anger.

You keep saying the same thing over and over and over and over...! Listen. From this moment on, this school is your home, your life, your world, got it? And you can kill as much as you want to kill! So go ahead, go on a kill-kill-killing spree!

[Name]: So it really was true then, we really have to kill someone to leave...

[Monokuma]: Yes! Finally, someone gets it! Uh...whoever you are...I can't see you in the crowd...

Monokuma turned his attention away from me and looked over to Yasuhiro.

[Name]: Ugh! Don't you see!? There's no trick! If we really didn't have to kill someone, then why else would there be bolts over the windows and cages over the stairs!?

Mondo shoved Yasuhiro out of the way, ignoring me, as he placed himself in front of Monokuma, his voice rumbling like thunder.

[Mondo]: Listen up, asshole! This shit's gone way too far! What the hell kinda joke is this!?

[Monokuma]: Joke? What, do you mean like your hair?

Oh no.

[Mondo]: FFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-!

Mondo roared out, and then there was a sudden BOOM! It was the sound of floorboards as he kicked off and launched himself into the air.

[Name]: Holy shit he's a rocket ship...

He flew at Monokuma, fast and straight as a bullet. He'd locked onto his target...Mondo grabbed Monokuma and lifted him into the air. Monukuma waved his arms around in surprise.
