A day had passed since the 4 engines choosing.

Thomas was in the Forest, he was on a shaded Siding, the little blue engine had his eyes closed, listening to the sounds around him.

"Henry's right, this is a nice place," He said. He could hear birds chattering around him, a soft breeze whispered across his warm boiler, and the soft air felt good around him

He was broken out of his trance by a whistle.

"Thomas? Thomas?" A voice said.

"John, reverser please," Thomas said, as his driver pulled the reverser, and he backed out of the Siding.

As he did, he saw a small red engine looking for him.

"Ello, James," Thomas said.

"Thomas, yesterday, did something weird happen to you," The Red Engine asked, a puzzled expression crossing their face. As he let off steam softly.

Thomas cocked an eyebrow, his sky-blue eyes filled with curiosity, "How so?"

"Yesterday, as I was taking my goods, I puffed through henrys tunnel, and when I came out the other side, I was, somewhere different, it was dark and misty, and -"

Thomas cut him off, "An engine puffed us and told you that you were chosen as a legend?"

James was surprised, "yea," they said, looking up, as he and Thomas made eye contact, their eyes flickered a golden yellow.

"I don't know how or why, I just had a feeling you were the right engine to talk to," James said.

Suddenly, their surroundings started to glow.

"T-Thomas? What's happening?"

"I-i- I DON'T KNOW,"  Thomas shouted.

In a bright flash, the two blacked out.

Thomas awoke, his vision blurry at first. Before he focused.

"Is that, tidmouth?" The blue engine said.

He looked on in awe. It was Sidmouth. Before the war, in all its glory.

He looked around, inspecting his surroundings. He saw a small 3-track narrow gauge line, a docking station, and the yard, with trucks. And an engine on the middle rack of the station.

"Thomas!" He heard a voice yell.

He took his attention off the engine. And looked up to see Henry and Edward pull into the station coming from the back, as he and James rolled up from the front.

Thomas looked over at the narrow gauge line and saw Proteus roll up.

"Hello, engines," the purple engine said, "as you know, you were chosen by the gold dust to be protectors,"

"Not to cut you off or anything, but where are we?" Henry asked, his brow furrowed as a confused expression crossed his face.

"You are on the magic railway," Lady said.

"Why does it look like tidmouth?" James asked.

"Cause! It takes the form of the place the protectors trust most!" A voice said. As the engines looked over to the yard, a few trucks rolled into a siding, and an engine puffed out.

"P-PERCY?!" 3 of the engines exclaimed, Edward just chuckled.

"AYOOOO," Percy exclaimed. As a wide grin crossed his face.

"What are - how- huh?" James asked.

"I've been in this since godrej and millhauser were legends," Percy said.
