You went to see your best friend aonung after his fight with the sully brothers.

"Aonung!" you called as you saw the retreating back of your close friend.
"Y/n not now." he muttered, turning back away from you and carrying on walking.
"What in the name of eywa happened to your face!" you cried as you you ran infront of him and were met with numerous bruises and cuts that littered his face.

"It was those stupid skxawngs neteyam and lo'ak." he grumbled and looked away.
"Why would you fight them? They only just got here and you're picking fights already." you replied.
"It doesn't matter why okay." he huffed.

"Come, i'll help you to heal the bruises so that they're less noticeable." you said and gently pulled in his arm so he would follow you. Knowing aonung, his pride would get the best of him and he'd refuse help.

Once you were at your pod, you began took a jar that contained healing paste.
"Stay still, this'll be cold but it'll help a lot." you told him as he nodded and laid down.
You began to apply the cream to the numerous bruises on his face, and whilst doing so didn't even realise the close proximity you were now in. Your faces were only inches apart, and you held eye contact for a short while until you jumped back  after realising just how close you were.

"Thank you." aonung said as he sat up and looked at you.
"It was nothing." you replied, looking away, still embarrassed from being so close.
"My mother would've skinned me if i came home like that." he scoffed,
"She'll probably still feel tempted too after finding out what you did." you responded, giving him a look.
"Tsk, whatever." he muttered,
"Just apologise and be over with it aonung." you said as you tried to talk to some sense into him.
"I'll think about it okay?" he replied, looking at you.

You smiled at him and got up ready to leave, him copying your actions. Once you both stood up you realised your faces were only inches apart again.

"Thank you again y/n." aonung said as he placed a soft kiss on your cheek.
He walked out the pod and looked back, smirking at you.
