Nahida looked at the two as they seemed standoffish as they can barely stand each other presence in the room. "Today will be something a little easy on the two of you" Nahida stated as she looked at the two. "You'll be doing what is a mock battle" they looked at each other. "I say I got nothing against" "against a harbinger" she added.
"Nope" was all Scaramouche said as he tried to walk out only to get grabbed by the collar by Yurei. "Forgive me for saying what I'm about to say" was all Yurei said before taking a breath "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!?" She yelled. "We can barely take Emrites without bickering and you want US to take out HARBENGERS in a MOCK BATTLE?!"
"I see where you can be upset but I promise it for your own good" Cyno stated. "If you two can work" "And get along yada yada I know" Yurei stated.
"Look, you two are extremely close to catching this person but if they turned out to be a bigger threat to the city of Sumeru..." neither of them said anything as he stepped forward. "Fine, I'm ready," all Scaramouche said as Nahida turned to look over to Yurei. "Let's get it over with," she said.
Yurei took a blow to her arm as she had it in front of her as pushed Scaramouche behind her. "Stay behind me, you're tired right now and you'll make a fatal mistake" she warned. It's been a while since they last started and they hadn't taken a break as they were focused on the mock battle. "Says the one who can barely wield her bow at the moment" Scaramouche stated.
Yurei took a trade out with her blade as she wanted to use her bow in up-close combat but Scaramouche was making it difficult as he seem to have no regard for what she was doing and never took to the plan.
"Any better?" Cyno asked as he approached Nahida. "I'm afraid not" she stated as she shook her head. "Yurei and Scaramouche seem to be making plans but nothing seems to stick and Yurei" Nahida seemed a bit sadden as she said the line "Yurei looks like she's trying to protect him as if he's about to be killed by a wrong move."
Cyno said nothing as he had noticed it to with a few run-ins with enemies as she seemed to try to protect him as she signal Smoky in some cases to take place and avoid danger.
"She needs to rest and get a sense of trust in skills in others" was all she stated. "She's not fighting out of strength but a sense of regret."
Once again he nodded as he watched what he was seeing from her side of things.
"What do you mean I'm "put off the side"?" Yurei shouted furiously. "We are so close and suddenly I'm benched" she yelled again.
"You need to learn to trust your team" Cyno stated as they were in the spare room Tighnari had set up for her. "Arrow is out there trying to catch the same person as we are; You'll be fine" Cyno added.
"I will not stand for this. You told me that nothing like this would happen" "I promised you I wouldn't turn you in" he yelled. Yurei never felt terrified till now. She was used to him yelling but this time it was different.
"You are nothing more than a petty thief that has yet to face judgment. I cannot guarantee that if you keep doing whatever you're doing a safe place in Sumeru. You are to stay here and wait for my orders."
Yurei said nothing as she took off her metal arm as to say she gave up leaving her nub to be exposed. "I knew it" was all she said as she stormed out with Smoky on her trail. Cyno did feel bad and he hoped he wouldn't regret his decision later on or what he had said.
