Marco POV
I heard that there was a new girl in school. To be said by others, she was like a girl version of me. She liked wearing purple jackets and was almost safe in everything. But once hyper, things she would do were limitless. Star was pumped and wanted to meet her, so we voluntereed to be her guide and let her live with us as she was a foster child. Her name was, Katrella. (Yes i added myself in to the drama.)
We arrived to see a girl in a purple hoodie cap draped over her head and a pink skirt. Out of mischeif, we decide to surprise her. We crept up behind her... Boo!
Kat's POV
"Boo!" two voices came from behind me. I instinctively grabbed somone's hand and flipped him or her to the floor. I only saw a boy in a red hoodie lying on the floor groaning. He was my new guide... Oops? I bent over and pulled him up. "Sorry... Uh?" The boy stood beside a blond haired girl with a devil horned headband. I kinda assumed they were dating but I kept my mouth shut. Both looked at me and whispered to each other "She really is like the female version of you..."
I stood awkwardly arching an eyebrow. They then smiled and said warmly " Welcome to Echo Creek! Apparently, you wont have to worry about the bullies here." I smiled. The boy put out his hand. "I'm Marco Diaz. And this is my friend, Star Butterfly." I shook his hand. "You probably know my name by now. But you can call me Kat."
Star's POV
The girl was friendly! Kat, she said to call her. We show- Marco, showed her around the school. I kinda just tagged along to be friends with her. Soon, it was time for Skullzies class. I bounded to my seat and dragged a table in between me and Marco's seat."Sit here Kat!" I yipped in joy. She took a seat and smiled. "I thought I'd never make friends. You guys are so friendly!" she called out, turning to me. "You should meet Alfonzo and Furgunson too!" Marco added in.
****Skip Class to on the way Home****
Kat's POV
I walked alongside Star. Although Marco was cute, but judging by my power, they would end up together. Yes. I said power. Why? I had magic. Like Star. Only, mine did not need a wand. They did not know yet. I could read futures and matchmake. Fight, grant wishes... The possibilities were almost endless. But I did not wanna hurt them. No intention. I swear.
When we got to the Diaz household, Marco's parents warmly welcomed me. Then i saw Marco blush. I read his mind and giggled. His parents had told him i was one of his future 'choices'. They showed me to the guest room and I tilted my head at the dullness of the mocha coloured room. "Could use some redecorating..." i muttered. Star glanced at me
" Omg when i first saw my room i thought that too!" we giggled as Marvo rolled his eyes. Exiting the room, he muttered" Girls... I dont get them."
***Time Skip to 4 months ltr***
Marco's POV
So maybe i thought having one more girl in the house was a bad thing. I was wrong from start to end! She literally made the house livelier for me! We had soo many things in common that I nearly thought she was a reverse gender of me! But i realised that she was also talking, no, whispering to Star alot about something that would make Star blush as she glanced at me and waved her hands in a frenzy. I wonder... The next morning, i was awoken to pattering of feet down the hall. I clambered out of bed and walked out to the hallway. "K-Kat?! Why are you up so early?" I muttered, rubbing my blurry eyes. She was clad in shorts and a black shirt that said in white font "You complete MeSS" "P-Practicing..." she stammered in shock. Beads of seat formed on her forehead as she pursed her lips in worry. "Huh?" I replied, confused as ever.
She then sighed. She opened her palm and a little blue flame in the shape of a heart flickered out. She glanced away. "I kinda know magic... Please dont kick me out! I swear to god i wont hurt any of you!" she says as the heart flickers away and is replaced by a floating water ball that she cupped in her palms. I stare. Open mouthed. She giggles. "Close your mouth, silly. You're gonna catch flies! You live with Star! Its not much of a difference." I shut my mouth and smile faintly. "Yeah. Suppose so." She smiles back and hugs me warmly before chanting some words and making a lightning shaped ball of light appear in between her palms. It reminds me of the hug Star gave me after that fight outside the Stop and Slurp convenience store...
