Kat's POV
So I told Marco. Big deal. So i went to my room, sat on my bed and formed a little heart shaped lightning bolt. No biggie. So Marco came in. Sat down next to me and hugged me. Big deal. Then i turned around and we were 1 inch away from each others noses. So? I grinned. I booped his nose and giggled. "What are you doing?" I turned back to my lightning bolt. He just kept hugging my waist and i sat cross legged in between his open legs. "Arent you dating Star? Shouldnt you be doing this to her?" I casually asked. "Wha-What? Dating?" He looked confused.
"C'mon. Mija and you are so close!" I snickered.
He looked at me"Where'd you learn mija? Anyway. Yeah... As best friends."
I shrugged as i just sat, making lil sparkles appear from my hands, turning into lil snowflakes as they fell onto Marco's knee. I wouldnt get in the way of their future! :3 It was my OTP now!
Marco's POV
She sat there... In my embrace. I did not know what to say. Right now i was in dilemma and needed comfort. But Star did not like being woken up so early... Girls thing. She quoted. Anyway. Kat slowly wriggled free of my grip. She then said she was going to get dressed. I started to walk off...
Then she told me i could stay. I blushed. What? She noticed and giggled. She rolled her eyes and waved her hand around and smirked before snapping her fingers. Magic Dust flew around and when it cleared, she was wearing what she wore the first day we met. I laughed nervously... Yeahh i completely forgot... Burning warm, i flew to my room and pulled on my red hoodie. Then, Star screamed. Kat ran down the halls. She knocked and read Star's mind. Kat blushed profusely and glanced at me out of the corner of her eye as she saw me approaching. She turned to me. Red as a tomato, she giggled nervously. "Um... G-Girls Th-Thing..." she aid and slipped into the room. Locking the door behind her, she never noticed my face which was already on fire... Owh...
***Time Skip to school***
Nobody's POV
"Prom? Umm... Star... Possibly... Cause Kat is like my twin or something." He muttered when Alfonzo asked who he was taking to prom. He smirked at Marco. "Yeah! We knew it! Ya loove Star B'Fly." Marco rolled his eyes. "So? Ya got a problem with that?" He punched his friend in the arm and they both just laughed.
Kat's POV
Good. Everything was going according to my prediction... Except... I leaned against the pillar in the dark corridor and slipped onto the floor. Before i knew it, tears came streaming out of my eyes. I was going to- "Kat??" Star hissed in the darkness worriedly. I looked up and wiped the tears from my face. "Yeah..." Star looked at me and arched an eyebrow. "Whats wrong? Im one of your besties. Ya can tell me." Star said, sitting next to me. I snifdled and plastered a fake, cheesy smile on to my face. "Thanks Star. It- its nothing. How bout we head to class?" Star still seemed questioning, but nodded.
Star's POV
Kat had somethings on her mind and didnt wanna say... I needa find out. I looked over at her. She was doodling something in her notebook. Something like skulls and fire arrows. What? She was cheery just two weeks ago! What was happenin'? Was she worried about her parents? Like they died or something? I glanced at Marco. He noticed too. He looked at me and shrugged, glancing at her notebook. We were gonna find out. Flickering my wand, i managed to read her mind. She somehow knew. She muttered... "Star, i know you are in here... Please leave. You wont understand a single thing!
I looked astonished for a moment... But i just left... She was sad... I felt Marco pat my back from across her. I looked at him with puppy dog eyes and smiled faintly...
