Louis POV:
I wake up because someone is moving in my bed. I groan and look over my should to see what crazy mistake I did last night.

"Morning babe" says Ginger smiling.

Thank goodness.

"Hi there" I smile lazily. I roll over to face her and I realize she isn't wearing a shirt.

"What happened last night?" I ask her.

She chuckles, "You got drunk after the game and I drove you home. You offered that I spend the night so I did" she tells me.

"I vaguely remember that, babe. Why don't you have a shirt?"

She giggles and blushes, "Louis, why do you think?"

My eyes widen, "We did?!"

She nods, "And it's sad because you don't remember" she says and looks up at the ceiling.

"I'm sorry babe, I usually black out when I'm drunk and I don't remember anything" I apologize.

She shakes her head, "It's fine it's not like your my boyfriend and I love you enough to let you take away my virginity" she says rolling over.

Oh shit. I fucked up.

"Baby, you're a virgin?"

She nods, "Was."

"Can I make it up to you somehow?"

"It doesn't work that way Louis. You can't just take that back. It's fine though" she lies.

I sigh and put my arm around her naked torso, "I love you, baby. And even though I didn't remember, it was probably great and it was with me so it was special, right?"

She nods and looks at me, "I guess."

"Here, I'll tell you what... Tonight we are going to go out to dinner. I'm going to treat you right and then we will come home, totally sober, and do it again. Like it never happened last night. Tonight will be your first" I tell her, hoping to make up for that.

She sighs, "Alright" she says, "What time are you coming to get me?" she asks.

"Around six" I smile and she rolls around and smiles too.

"Perfect. Will you drive me home baby?" she asks cuddling into me.

I wrap my arms around her and kiss her, "Yeah, I will" I smirk.

After I drop her off, I go back home and pass out in my bed. My head hurts really bad. Probably a little hung over.

Someone knocks on my door, "What?" I ask grumpily.

The door cracks open and Evan pops his head in, "There's a call for you, Tomlinson" he says, "It's pretty important."

I get up, groaning and I follow Evan downstairs and into the living room where the phone is at.

My mum is standing there smiling and holding out the corded phone, "It's for you, Lou" she smiles.

I nod, a little skeptical. I take the phone and place it on my ear, " 'Ello?"

"Mr. Louis Tomlinson?" asks a man on the other line.

"Uh, yeah?" I ask listening closely onto who this is.

"Hi, my name is Paul Dickov" he says.

My heart stops. Paul Dickov?! Manager of the Doncaster Rovers!!?? "Yes, sir..." I say, calmly.

"Last night, some of my colleges went to your football game and watched you win. I'm the manager of the Donca-"

"Doncaster Rovers, yes sir, I'm familiar with your work" I say, showing him I completely know who he is.

"Wow, Louis, I'm impressed. I just wanted to call and tell you that the representatives included team members, the president of the team, and two of our four directors. The group said your performance was impeccable" he says.

I nod, "Thank you" I say politely.

"They did, although point out a few minor problems with passing abilities. Director David Blunt said he questioned you ability on playing offense. He has suggest mid. Have you played as a mid-fielder before, Mr. Tomlinson?"

"Yes sir, once or twice for absent players. My best position though is a forward, sir" I explain to him.

If I happen to get a spot on the Rovers, I would much rather have a forward position. Not just because I know how to better play it, but it pays more that a mid-fielder or defender.

"I don't mean to sound rude any, but I don't care where you want to be" he says coldly.

"Yes sir, sorry" I say, sadly. I might have just lost my position on the team.

He sighs, thinking about what he is going to say next, "In a few days, you will receive a letter in the mail deciding your possible future as a Doncaster Rover."

I smile, "Thank you very much sir" I say happily.

"You don't have a position yet, Louis. We are working on background checks, history, and all that fun stuff" he chuckles, "The letter will determine your fate."

"Yes sir, and when should I be receiving it?" I ask curiously.

"In a few days. I'd say Wednesday or so" he says.

"Alright! I look forward to it. Thanks again for calling" I say.

"Thanks for playing" he chuckles, "Have a good day, Mr. Tomlinson."

I listen longer until the line goes dead, signaling with a beeping.

I gently place the phone back and my mum, Evan and I stand there in silence.

"That was Mr. Paul Dickov. From the Rovers" I inform them.

"And?"

"And, they believe I did good last night. They are doing background checks and are going to send a confirmation letter of where I stand on Wednesday or Thursday" I tell them.

"Does it seem like he likes you?" asks Evan, prying information out of me.

"I'm not so sure... He was harsh at one point, then laughed. I believe I did well" I say.

"I'm sure you'll get in, Lou" says my mum and she hugs me, "I'm proud of you, Louis."
