You have lived in the forest and heard stories of how strong and fierce your parents were when the Sky people first attacked. Neytiri tells you all the time your mother grew up with her, and we're very close. Your mother and Neytiri were so close they promised to take care of each other's children if anything ever happened to them. Sadly during one of the first raids against the Sky people, both your parents died. You were 15 when they passed away. During the 15 years you had together, they taught you everything you needed to know about the forest and were very talented with a bow. Sometimes you practiced with the Sullys, and when you weren't training, you were still inseparable from the Sully kids. You and Lo'ak are the same age as Kiri. However, you and Lo'ak were always causing mischief and getting in trouble together, and still are now that you're 16, almost 17.
You and Neteyam have always had a good relationship. He saw you as part of the "triplets," as the clan called you, Kiri and Lo'ak. For a while, you were just Lo'ak and Kiri's trouble-making friend until your parents died and a more serious side of you came out for a time. It was weird not seeing you smile, laugh or want to explore as much. He started to miss the things that made you, you. He didn't realize he noticed so much about you and how much he missed that side of you. What your laugh sounded like, your smile, the way your eyes widened when you realized you and Lo'ak were caught and were about to get in trouble. It made him sad.
When Lo'ak found out your parents died, he didn't know what to do. How to comfort you, how to act around you, typical teenage boy. He just cared about you so much that he didn't want to say the wrong thing and upset you. In the beginning, it was awkward, but in the moments when you started to come alive again, his only focus was to keep that spark and make you laugh.
When your parents died, you and Kiri got super close—sleeping next to each other, going on walks trying to make you talk about your feelings instead of holding it in but never really getting anywhere. Except for one night, it was you two in your hut going through all your parent's things, and you cried for the first time. You sat with her in the hut, talking about memories you had with them. Neytiri came in and held you as silent tears rolled down your cheeks while Kiri held your arm. After that, all you wanted was to pretend it didn't exist, but after a while, it would eventually all spill out.
Present time
You and Kiri were anxiously waiting for everyone to return from a raid. You sat with Kiri getting things ready just in case they were needed. Kiri noticed your tail and ears constantly flicking with anxiety and your chest rising and falling a little quicker than usual.
"They are going to be alright, take a breath." Kiri grabbed your shoulders, steadying you. She offered you a small smile. "Ewya is protecting them."
You blew out a big breath, "I know. I know. It's just... you know." You looked at her with a worried face. You get so concerned during raids, especially with what happened with your parents. The thought of it happening again scared you. You can't endure that kind of pain again, especially with one of the Sullys.
