It had been a long ride on the Ikrans; your legs hurt, and your body felt stiff. During the ride, Neteyam flew next to you once in a while to ensure you were okay. Each time you would give him a wave and smile, mouthing thank you. He would smile back; you couldn't deny that it would make you blush.

Lo'ak noticed his brother constantly checking in on you, and after Neteyam's third visit to you, he flew over next to you with a wave and stayed there for the rest of the trip.

...

You have finally arrived at the Metkayina Clan. The water was beautiful, the most beautiful blue you had ever seen in your life. The sound of a horn filled your ears, and you followed Jake's lead and started to make your way down to the ground.

When you landed your Ikran, you sat there for a second, taking a breath. You looked up when a hand reached out to you. Neteyam. You took his hand and felt your feet hit the sand. Together you walked up with the rest of your family to Tonowari and Ronal, The leader and Tsahik of the Metkayina Clan. You stood a little behind Lo'ak and Neteyam and watched Jake and Neytiri talk to Tonowari and Ronal. You watched Lo'ak's head turn to his right and followed his gaze.

One of the most beautiful girls you've ever seen was emerging from the water. You shot your eyes back to Lo'ak, and although you couldn't see his face, you knew he was staring at the girl. Even Neteyam turned to look at the beautiful girl. Kiri saw the exchange between the three of you and couldn't help feeling sad seeing your face turn into despair. And when Lo'ak said hey to the girl, Kiri swore she could hear your heart crack.

Although Neteyam did look at the girl, he was more interested in what Lo'ak was thinking. When he turned and looked at his brother, he could see he was already intrigued. He desperately wanted to look back at you, but Tonowari's voice boomed out, announcing your family will stay.

You were so caught up with your heart being torn apart. You didn't even realize everyone had started moving forward, following the girl known as Tsireya, as her father said.

"Y/n, come on." Kiri grabbed your hand.

You stayed in the back during the walk to your new hut. Tuk bouncing on the pathway was the only thing that made you smile. Watching Lo'ak gawk over Tsireya killed you. Suddenly you wished you had stayed in the forest; it would have been better to imagine this happening and it not being true instead of getting a front-row seat.

The whole time all Neteyam was thinking about was you. How did you feel seeing Lo'ak stare at Tsireya, yes, she was pretty, but she wasn't you. He was angry at Lo'ak for not taking into account your feelings. He knew you liked him and assumed there might be something going on between the two of you, even though the thought made him want to punch his brother. He shook his head; he couldn't think like this. He was the older brother. No matter what, he would support Lo'ak, even if it meant loving you from afar.

When arriving at the hut, Jake and Neytiri sat you all down to talk. You chuckled at Kiri's attitude and bumped her shoulder when she rolled her eyes.

"What" she looked at you, and you gave her a knowing look. She smirked at you and bumped your shoulder back.
