Luca's POV

The motheruúcking BITCHES decided to attack us! Stupid little humans!

What did they expect?! That we'd hold back?! That we'd let them kill us with those stupid arrows?!

No.. that's not how it goes. This game is for two to play. And the best one would win. In our case, we were a hundred times better than them. And victory was ours!

I shifted and so did Roberto. We go get out and run like madmen. I would keep an eye on the kid but Ailuros has our back. So I'll just concentrate on the fight.

I look at how many they are... that's weird.

Ailuros: Indeed. They are not more than twenty...

Luca: It's like suicide! They don't stand a chance!

Ailuros: That's true.

I shake my head and go on to battle. This isn't a game. I have to survive and protect my family. I kill in a blink of an eye three of them. They weren't even fully armed and threw themselves to battle with shifters. What are they even thinking?!

Ailuros: Something is off.

Luca: I know.

Ailuros: You should keep one or two alive for interrogation.

Luca: *scoffs* I don't like it but you are right.

Suddenly my panther snapped his head to the left. An archer was about to hit me, I jump with a roar, and the next moment he is on the ground, blood running from his neck. Blood that is dripping from my teeth onto his unmoving body.

Luca: Pathetic

From the corner of my eye, I see Roberto taking down two of them. But he doesn't kill them..they retreat scared running as fast as they can. Miguel, Sheila, and some other wolves have killed almost all the others.

Ailuros: Well, well what do we have here?

I look up and see a huntress one that for her own damn good was looking like a walking dream. Thick dark brown curly hair fell down her shoulders, olive skin that glowed with sweat as the muscles of her arms flexed holding her gun up. Her eyes were a piercing emerald green that held the flame of a true warrior.  A gun at each hand. She takes down two wolves but without killing them. She purposely aims for their feet hurting them just enough to not oppose a threat.

Luca: What...what is she doing?

Ailuros: Apparently, she is sparing their lives.

I couldn't believe my eyes...they are not like that. Whenever they have the chance they aim, shoot and kill. But she knows what she is doing and she definitely doesn't want to kill.

And then I see Roberto. Cornering a scared girl, she must be a huntress too but she has no weapons. He approaches her but stops when she pleads for him to.

Luca: *shrugs* He doesn't know what he is doing!

Ailuros: Hmm, I wouldn't say that.
