Ch. 3 : Confusing Feelings

A few hours had passed, it was now late in the afternoon. You still had some leftover cookies as you sat on the couch in the living room, watching a movie.

Springtrap came up to you, peering at the TV. "What are you watching?"

You took a sip from your (f/drink) before setting it down on the side table beside the couch. "Eh, it's a movie a friend at work suggested. It's laughably bad-" You told the rabbit.

"Mind if I join you?" He asked with a small smile. "I love watching stupid stuff."

You shrugged. "Feel free."

Springtrap sat beside you on the couch, and you noticed he had an arm outstretched, resting against the top of the couch, it wrapped behind where you sat.

You both sat quietly for a while, your attention being on the movie; at least, that's what you made it try and look like.

A part of you wanted to lean in closer, or to have him wrap his arm around you, or even
for him to give you another hug.

...You're coming to the realization that you're just as, if not, even more touch-starved than he is.

"So, you don't have a girlfriend or boyfriend or anything, do ya?" Springtrap interrupted your thoughts, glancing at you.

You felt your heart begin to race. "No; what's with the sudden interest in my relationship status?"

"Hm, just thinking. I've been here for a few days and it's only been us two." He said, and you noticed he inched closer towards you.

"Ha, yeah it's just me. My family lives out of state, so I've been on my own for a while."

You look down, deep in thought while wearing a sad smile. "Nick and Deliah, aside from work acquaintances, are the only friends I've had since I moved here. Sure, I've done work for people around town, but I'm not super close to anyone right now."

Springtrap suddenly moved his arm down from the top of the couch, wrapping it around your shoulder. He smiled. "Can I fix that?"

Feeling your face heat up, you stood up quickly. "I need to run to the restroom real fast."

You took off, trying not to let Springtrap see your expression.

The rabbit sat quietly, worried thoughts filling his head. "I wonder if I went too fast. I don't want to scare them off....but I wonder if they feel the same way."

You sit in the bathroom, trying to relax. You let out a sigh, looking into the mirror.

Admitting to yourself that you did everything you could to deny it, but alas; you've developed feelings.

For a robot.

An ex-serial-killer furry bunny robot.

"Heh," you breathed, relived that you finally came to that incredibly obvious conclusion. "Can I call myself a narcissist for falling in love with something I designed?"

You stared into the eyes of your reflection, falling deep into thought. You know it wasn't just his looks-though, the suit you designed helped a lot.

He was charming, which was a confusing trait to praise, considering he used to be a serial killer. Charm was something criminals required.
