L x Reader

Chapter 2

~~a/n Sorry that there's a lot of typos in the first chapter. I guess that's what happens when you write at 11 o'clock at night lol~~

You woke up to the sun shining on your face. You sat up and yawned. You looked over at your clock to see that it was 8:37. You had a few hours before you had to meet L.

You climbed out of bed and stretched your tired muscles. You took a quick shower. You got out and dried your hair. Then, you got dressed into a (F/C) (F/A) t-shirt and your favorite pair of jeans. You brushed your (H/C) hair out and put on some (F/C) converse.

You looked at the clock again and saw that it was 9 o'clock.

~~TIME SKIP TO THE CAFÉ (because I'm lazy)~~

You walk into the café and notice L sitting in a booth by himself in the corner. You walk over and sit in the seat across from him. He doesn't say anything to you. "Hello?" You ask him.

He looks up and seems as if he just realized you were there. "Hello (Y/N)," he says. "As you know, there is a killer named Kira. We don't know who he is or how he kills. He seems to be going after only criminals and it seems as if he needs a name and a face to kill. In order to keep you safe, you will be going by the name Mary.( if that's already your name then just use the letter M)"

You nod as a waitress walks over to you two and takes your order. L orders strawberry cake and you order cookies. The waitress comes back a few minutes later with your food. L consumes his whole cake before you even finish one cookie.

"Mary," L says looking up from his cake. You look up when you realize that he's talking to you. He says, "I was wondering if you would be able to move into the investigations HQ. You would be able to have your own floor."

"Sure," you reply, "it shouldn't be a problem because I live alone anyways."

"Good. We will get you moved in tomorrow at around noon so you have time to pack."

~~TIME SKIP TO NOON THE NEXT DAY (I is lazy)~~

You sat in the back seat of the limo that L sent to pick you up. The driver was a young man named Matsuda. He seemed nice enough. You look out the window when you feel the car stop and see a tall building. "Is this HQ?" You asked Matsuda.

"Yup," he replied.

"It's huge."

You gathered up your things and walked inside the building. You were greeted by a boy about your age with brown hair. "Hello. My name is Light. You must be Mary," he said. "I'll show you to your room."

Light walked over to an elevator and pressed the button for the 15th floor. You got in the elevator with him. When you reached your destination, Light motioned for you to follow him down a hallway. He stopped in front of a door. "Here's your room," he said,opening the door for you (your hands were full).

You walked in a places your stuff down in your bed. You turn around and noticed that Light was gone. 'Oh whale.,' you thought. You began unpacking.
