Akumi decided it was best to go back to the battlefield a couple hours after the war was finished to retrieve some of the significant bodies of the Mazoku. Although depleted of chakra, she stayed awake to do this one last task with the help of three of the older children who were around 8-10 years of age.

The new clan head wasn't so cruel to introduce them to death; they've already fought alongside each other. All the older children around the years of 9 had to stay behind and take care of the young children or toddlers as a punishment. It was lucky on their part that they were not apart of the others in wave 2 of the war.

They walked through the dark forest towards the battleground.

Kai, Akumi's cousin, stuck by her side in worry. He had the typical Mazoku yellow in one eye, and a traitorous blue in the other. Akumi's auntie had been in love with an anonymous man, creating her bastard child. Her punishment for such a traitorous act was death once Kai was at an age where he stopped nursing.

With looking like a bastard the tendencies must've been included, kindness overwhelming the Mazoku aura. The only reason he is still alive is Akumi and her use of stature.

"Akumi-sama.." Kai started, looking quite nervous as he looked up at her.

"Hm? What is it, little cousin?"

He flinched at the endearing term, noticing the other two looking at her in subtle disbelief. "H-How did all the Mazoku die?"

Her piercing yellow eyes slid over to the light in front of her, finally entering the battlefield to see others dragging bodies onto their wooden carts or wrapping them in cloth. The three children widened their eyes and became teemed with surprise at the many scattered Mazoku bodies littering the plains.

"Akuyami Mazoku," She said firmly, initiating the end of the topic. She moved forward quickly and beckoned the three to do the same, "Close as many eyes of our dead as you can while you look for your parents or siblings."

"Akumi-sama... may I ask why? It has never been the normal-"

"It is right now." Two eyes of violent light stared down at the boy named Kiro, who nodded silently.

"Yes, Akumi-sama." The three kids all went together to start at one side of the battlefield, while Akumi waltzed to where her father and brother lay, ignoring the stares of the enemy shinobi.

The woman did not bring Zanshu Kogu in order to carry bodies much more easier. The Kunoichi struggled to keep the facade of her being alright in front of others. Although the scarce, strong sensor-types may sense the depletion of her chakra.

"You are bold, showing up after my brother gave you the mercy of being alive in the first place." A sharp voice spoke from her side.

Akumi recognized him as Madara's brother, Izuna. She simply glared at him. "Mercy? You must mean for the people he stopped me from killing." She scoffed in disbelief, before sighing and waving him off. "I don't want to deal with anyone right now, Uchiha. My patience is running thin as of the moment."
