HUMMING, by birds was heard outside the window were Katrina sat listening to Lord Ezra Strauss babbling on about himself, riches and lands he had. Katrina didn't care about details or little things, the man had more than enough money to keep her comfortable and the point were the he was sick enough anyone could tell he had mere years left. Those years couldn't be more than ten, knowing her impatient father he would rush up the wedding. Katrina will have to sleep with him but even she knew if she had children none of them will be his.

The Lord Ezra was a nice man just as he was smart. His heart belonged to his late wife and had been hung up on her for years. He wasn't very old about the same age as her father, maybe a little older. He knew Katrina had no interest with him as he did her. The man knew he needed an heir, The son would carry the Strauss name so he didn't care if he wasn't even related to the child. He mostly hoped that it would be believable that the child was his. Ezra had dirty blonde  hair turning grey by the roots with little grey eyes.

WHILE, Queen Alicent planned the wedding to be in a weeks time leaving Katrina to whore out the her freedom under the name Baratheon. Meanwhile, Aegon couldn't get the name out of his head even if he thought more with his pants then his brain. Katrina looked at the prince as a last restore for the girl to have her fun.

Katrina's time was well spent in the training grounds of the keep. Not because she wanted to train, no, the girl hated even breaking a sweat standing around in the heat. She lately focused her sights on the Ser Criston Cole. He seemed to take notice of the girl's interest but tried to shrug it off as he was mostly interested whoever if he even was. Katrina passed the knight flirtatious looks and smirks, she never spoke to him. Usually she never had to. Cole was the queen's sworn knight so he knew of the girl and he wedding soon, the queen had gladly taken on wedding planning as Katrina had no interest in it.

"Rina!" A name was called out by Aegon. It was a nickname, Katrina raised a brow at it, the prince had just finished training with his brother and nephews coached by the interest the girl had on the man. Aegon walked to the girl who was sitting on a chair she made the maids bring down, Aegon was followed by his little brother Aemond, who knew of her but never spoke and his young nephews, Lucerys and Jacaerys.

She sighed not wanting Aegon's presence much less whatever trouble he brought. "What pray tell do you need, my prince. To add, don't call me that again it's horrid." Katrina responded, She didn't hate the nickname but she liked to annoy Aegon. She turned to him looking at the other princes. Aemond just stared at her tiring to hide it, failing like Jacaerys and his little brother hide behind the older one still peeking at her, It made her smirk to her core and it sure boosted her ego. Some might say hers was just as high as Aegon's when it came to self love on the surface at least, yet deep inside both loathed whatever they saw starring back at them in the mirror.

"Only your time, M'lady. We've got fresh grapes." Aegon said intriguing the girl at the prince's last sentence. As much as Katrina hated it, the two were friends. Aegon was lonely and self-loathing and she was lonely and selfish. Katrina mostly stayed because he had access wine and things she could drown herself in, to speak freely they made up a code. 'Grapes' was used as one for wine, the one thing Katrina let Aegon stick around her for. Also the thing she wouldn't say no to. "Either way, I've heard you've lost your hand?" Aegon joked irritating the girl.

"Say what you want. I'll be spending my days sipping wine, relaxing and shopping with the hope of no annoying little scumbags to get in my way." Katrina replied the prince Aegon about to turn away.

"What's so happy about that. He might lock you in a room to pop out heirs and when he passes who knows might snatch you up. Knowing you, whose bastard's might pop up." Aegon commented about that as his nephews, Lucerys and Jacaerys tested up at the word. She turned away leaving the two walking to an empty hallway as she saw her newest target. Ser Criston Cole the 'Kingmaker' they had called him. The dronish knight was seen about to punch one of the stone columns. Katrina shouted to get his attention telling him, his hand would break if he followed through with the plan. He already knew that of course but the man was just flustered. He walked away from her mumbling beneath his breath. She of course followed him.

Katrina knew the man's type. He liked them innocent and anyone who had meet Katrina, knew clearly she was not. Criston stopped turning around telling the girl to leave him alone. She smiled shaking her head. He got mad walking up to her grabbing her by the thoart. Katrina was not sacred, shocked and jumped back yes. But who wouldn't. She smirked, "Is that what you like?" The knight let go. She put her hand on her face as she what up to his level placing a kiss, it was supposed to be quick until he deepened it letting his hands roam free. The Baratheon lady pulled him into a free roam that the servants used to place cleaning supplies. It was at this moment where Katrina's life changes for better or for worse. Even more than the wedding.
