IF, I said Katrina had been faithful in these past few years, I would be called the master of lies. She bore another son. Calling him Henri Baratheon who was now eight as his older brother Elijah Strauss was ten. Henri's true father non other than his mother's best friend's at court, Prince Aegon II Targaryen.

Yet no one knew because the sweet boy did not inherit the Targaryen traits as Baratheon's genes are known to overcome any other ones. So no one raised a brow or even gave a second look. Why? because unlike someone else, who will not be named since it would be considered an act of treason by a biased king. Katrina was more believable. Which is why they are back. Katrina would not lie after the death of Rheanyra's first husband, Ser Leanor she'd lost a lot of respect for her, going of to marry her uncle the day after. Not even she would stoop to such levels. Even now the Lord Ezra Strauss is bedridden haven't gotten up in months, even worse than the king. 

They returned back to king's landing as the heir to the lord of the tides as been questioned remarkably by the second son of Driftmark, Vaemond. Now much to her dismay she was the one leading house Strauss. So she has to attend these such council not that ever payed attention to them.

A KNOCK WAS HEARD, Katrina opened the door as princess Heleana came in asking for help. She looked stressed as she did not know how to dress the twins. Knowing Katrina has learned to do it with her sons the princess came to her. Katrina couldn't say no to her dear friend hooking their arms in each other's as Elijah and Henri followed them.   

She helped get the twins dressed as the two sat in the room on one of the sitting's as Henri and Elijah played with them. The young princess Jaehaera linked herself with Elijah who couldn't stop giggling with the boy as Henri stayed playing peek-a-boo with his supposed to be half brother, Jaehaerys. Heleana did know about Henri's true father but of course would never snitch on her friend Katrina, maybe more than friends over these years they spent together. Not even Alicent knew of Henri and Aegon was probably to dumb to realize anything other than a hot woman or a drink.

They later were called onto court for the hearing. Katrina placed herself near the window's to spot some entrainment as she'd zone out like she usually do. Her sons, Elijah and Henri stayed on each side of their mother watching all the speeches go as Vaemond goes overdramatic with all his pure Velaryon blood and what not. 

The king had entered the room, and for a second Katrina's attention actually went to court as her smirked to herself at the king's sickly state while reminding her of her own husband who'd she'd stop visiting after he kept calling her by the name of his late wife. Then again she dozed off looking at the wind brush up against the trees outside the window. What got her attention back was a head hitting the stone ground, shocking everyone as Daemon cleared his sword while she wrapped her hands around the eyes of her sons. The king delcared the matter settled and sent everyone off.

LATER THAT NIGHT, Heleana informed her that the Targaryens were going to have a feast together. Katrina thanked the gods that this time no one dragged her like the funeral of Lady Laena. Katrina offered to put the twins asleep as their servant who was supposed to look after them was still not found. She did put them to sleep then she sent Elijah who neverminded going asleep early and then Henri who was an night owl and never spelt. Since his mother could not find sleep herself she stayed with him until he feel asleep. 

Not even realizing how late it was as she saw the prince Jacaerys angrily walking. He had bumped into her but she didn't fall to the ground it wasn't going to bruise and didn't even caused pain. He apologized as she shared his troubles with her. It did not seem like it at the time but Aegon's comment on how he didn't lay with a woman made him insecure. 

Katrina tired not laugh. She stepped forward to the prince placing her hand on his cheek. "Meet me at my chambers, I'll make you the man you wish to be." she whispered in his ear. Jace blushed at the sudden touch. Jacaerys had always had a admiration for the woman's beauty, him and Katrina were two years apart but the years Katrina had in experience. Jace could never measure up. His brain and something else told him not to pass up this opportunity and did what he was told.
