Marley Perth; Scooter and Lana Grubb's "daughter." Well, that's what they wanted Kildare to believe-did they really believe that? absolutely not. Everyone knew that the real reason Marley Perth lived under the Grubb's care though. When she was 2, her parents got drunk on their cheap, old boat and Dean Perth, her father got caught in the motor. His wife, Lydia tried to jump in and save him, but sadly died.

Luckily, the island had enough worry's and the Perth's horrible incident became last years news. Most still felt like they would always feel bad for the last Perth girl though. Especially, since she was a genuinely sweet kid; making deliveries for Heyward insisting no pay, spending hours of the day assuring that the beaches are clean, and on top of that working at her aunt's youth reiki.

Sure Marley wasn't always "perfect." She dabbled in a fair share of alcohol and participated in everyone's favorite, weed. Some may say she relied a lot on that substance, but hey how else was she meant to always stay mellow. Marley also was a local at every party, kegger, bonfire, honestly anything that had alcohol and was held on the cut.

She tried to stay far far away from figure 8. Marley wasn't one for violence or stereotypes, but when it came to kooks v pogues, she couldn't help herself. Kooks haven't done anything but harm her, so why should she  pretend to enjoy them?

so thats Marley Perth your not-so-average pogue trying to enjoy the summer before her junior year. When Agatha hit and her uncle went missing. Later found washed up, drowned. Marley was hurt, obviously not as much as her aunt Lana, but she tried to carry on with her life. Until, she comes home and Lana is on the floor sobbing speaking gibberish about 2 men, guns, a compass, john b and jj maybank....

hope speaks;
hey yall! i've been super obsessed with outerbanks recently(especially jj) and decided to make a fic! i have some fair "warnings" and just explanations.

1. this will be related mature for language and some scenes.
2. excuse if some of the scenes are slightly "off." the episodes are so long and there are so many of them. 😭
