1. The New Home!

Your P.O.V

My home was closed in by the demons that run everything. My mother and father was killed, now me and my brothers are alone. Riding on my griffen to god knows where. We make it to a reef it looks like. We land and get circled by people. I back up against my griffen, so I can't be seen. My brothers stand their ground. A guy with a big spare walks over to us. Calian greets him, by bending down and moving his fingers from his forehead down.

"Who are you?" This guy's voice is rough, no sign of softness at all. "I'm Calian, these are my siblings. Tauri, Alo, and Y/N, you are?" The guy looks at them, "I'm Tonowari leader of the Metkayina Tribe." A lady then comes out of the crowd, she looks mean. "Where have you come from?" My brothers look at each other. "A place that was destroyed a few years ago" Tauri says.

"That's not really answering my question" The lady says walking over to my brother. His griffen walks in front of him and her. "Easy boy, easy" I look at Tauri, he is peting his griffen. "We aren't here to cause trouble, we are just looking for a place to stay for a while" Calian says to the leader. Tonowari looks at the woman, "Ronal, darling their children. Let them stay for a while."

I watch her look at my brothers and back at Tonowari. "Very well, they well stay, but they have to learn our ways while they are here." The woman called Ronal says. I watch my brother's smile. "It's only boys so get them some of our clothes" I hear Ronal say. "Not all boys" I watch Calian look at my griffen and me. I back more into my griffen some more. "Alo, go get your sister" Tauri says, Alo just nods.

He walks over to me and hold out his hand. Alo is 8 going on 9. I respect my little brother. Never want the baby boy to get upset. I take a breath and grab Alo hand. I walk out into the light. "Y/N, be respectful, come meet the leaders and their children." Calian says, I look at him and shake my head no. I watch Calian give me a serious look. I look down at Alo, Alo nods his head and I take a deep breath. I let go of Alo hand. Walking over to my brother's side.

Everyone is looking at me. I look down and bite my bottom lip from nervousness. "Umm, I'm Y/N" I feel stares come from every direction. "Y/N." I hear Tauri voice, I move my glaze from the ground and up at him. "Look at people when you speak to them." I slowly turn my glaze to the leaders and their children. "Y/N" I say, I bend down and greet them like my brother.

Ronal looks at me, she just nods her head. "Y'all's training starts tomorrow. Tsireya, show them where they be sleeping." A young girl walks over to us and give us a smile. "Come on." She says, we follow her. We get to a little hut and she leaves us. My brothers look around. "Okay this looks liveable" Calian says. I look at the hut and give it a distributing look. Calian smiles and looks at me. "Y/N go explore some." I look at him and shrug, "Okay" I mumble.

I leave the hut and start looking around. Passing people who is giving me weird looks as I walk through. I get to the end of the island. Nobody is here, it's peaceful. I sit down and feel the water hit up against my feet. I take a breath and lay back on the sand. I hear footsteps and watch my eyes get covered by a shadow. I turn over on my stomach to see a little girl. "Are you the new comer?" I smile and sit up.

"Yes, I am. I'm Y/N and you are?" The little girl gives me a smile. "I'm Tuktirey, Tuk for short." I return the smile back to the little girl. "Nice to meet you tuk" I say. "Tuk!" I hear a voice yell. I than see two guys walk over to us. One is a darker blue than the other one. "What did father tell you, to stay where you can be seen" the boy says. I watch his eyes meet mine and I give him a small smile.
"That's Y/N" Tuk says with a big smile on her face. "The girl my father and mother is letting stay for a while." The lighter blue boy says, I nod my head. "Yeah."

"I should probably introduce myself, I'm Neteyam"
"Nice to meet you Neteyam." Neteyam nods and looks at the other boy there. "I'm Aonung" the other boy tells me. "Nice to meet you too." Tuk smiles widely at all of us. "Y/N!" I hear my brother yell, my eyes widen. "I'm sorry but I have to go." I go to run off but feel someone grab my tail. I let out a small whine. I turn my head and see Tuk holding onto my tail. "Uh Tuk my tail is sensitive, please let it go." Tuk let's my tail go and looks at me.

"I just wanted to know if we could play tomorrow." She mumbles, I give her an awe smile. "Sure" I say, "Y/N!" I hear my brother yell again. That yell is more strict. "I really have to go." I run off back to our hut. I get back and see my older brother crossing his arms. "Where were you?" "I was out talking with the locals."
