Note: I do not own the avatar franchise I only own my character Neyite!!
Jake and Neytiri had been through enough, they've lost family, friends and the hometree, all to protect their home. This was years ago and many changes can occur in such a long period of time. Like how the lovers now had 5 children and led missions against sky people that threatened the true Na'vi ways.
Tuktirey more commonly known as Tuk was the youngest and arguably the cutest. Being the youngest she was treated like a baby no matter how mature she'd pretend to be. Tuks status also made it easier for her sibling to poke-fun at her, in a joking and lighthearted way of course.
The middle children, know as Kiri and Lo'ak, fought a lot in their younger years, only growing out of this habit once the pre-teen years were hit.
Kiri might not have been Neytiri or Jakes biological daughter but she was treated like one. Every member of the Sully family loved Kiri just as they would a 'true' relation.
Lo'ak was much more rebellious then the rest, singling himself out to get some extra attention. With such a big family someone is bound to feel left out at some stage. Unfortunately for Lo'ak feeling isolated wasn't an uncommon sensation. Luckily he had amazing siblings to help and tell him how much he was loved and get him out of trouble.
Neyite and Neteyam were the two eldest Sully children. Like all twins, one is always older, in this specific pair it was Neyite. The twins were inseparably close and everyone knew it. They were two cherries from the same stem. Whatever one heard the other was told at the earliest chance. If they saw something interesting the other would be informed immediately. They were legitimately made to be bestfriends.
Neteyam understood Neyite and vise versa. He understood her obsession to be perfect as he knew it wasn't just to rub it in his face, but because it was carved into her skull. Like she had to be flawless or something irreversible would happen, forever ruining someone's life. She understood his acheing necessity to know what was going on. Not because he was nosey or trying to pry into Neyties or any others business but because he cared for her, wanting to make sure she was safe
When the Sully parent's discovered the arrival of dreamwalker Colonel Quaritch Jake was set on giving up the title Olo'eyktan to try and save his family. Somehow he managed to convince his mate and children to live in the Metkayina tribe, not like the children had any say anyway.
If Neyite did have a say she would have told her family running away won't solve anyone's problems. She always thought it was wrong to run from a fright, that it would chase you forever and you couldn't escape. But aspiring to be the best daughter she can, Neyite did as asked. Still keeping it in the back if her mind that if the time came Neyite would use every ounce of strength to honor her family making sure to never disappoint them. Disappointing someone she cared for scared her senseless and she would push herself to every limit to make sure she never caused anyone the feeling.
But trying to save everyone from suffering her consequences is a laborious task. With the responsibility of protecting her younger siblings and living up to toruk maktos legacy Neyites heart is left unopened and out of mind. So what would happen if someone opened it? Take her untouched heart?
It's not like he really wanted it to happen either, he liked his heart were it was, in his chest, not acheing to see some forest girl he openly ridiculed. But love is unforeseeable and untamed, a force that nothing can erase. It can grown in startlingly short amounts of time, thriving in any conditions. Surprising you with little time to prepare and leaving it's victims humiliated and oppressed.
