Whilst the Metkayina children could actually dive and execute it in a pristine manner. The Omatikayas' jumped of the bridge in numerous, questionable, ways.
Neteyam and Lo'ak ran excitedly along the wicker bridge jumping into the cool water just as quickly. Once the coast was clear, Kiri, Tuk and Neyite dragged eachother in all yelling energetically. Immediately they were engulfed by the crystal ocean. The water temperature shocked Neyite, it being much warmer then previously expected.
At first She was reluctant to open her eyes, foolishly scared something would happen, but she was thankful when she did, it was such a gorgeous sight. Swarms of multicoloured fish weeved their way through the giant trees roots, Neyite's eye's darted not know what to focus on first. Coral grew on the ocean floor in an array of rainbows as new creatures she'd never seen before thrived. Even noticing some golden fish with trailing fins, she thought they looked like wings. To her it looked like they were flying in the water, maybe that's what it felt like. She liked the idea of fish being able to fly.
Neyite's hair moved with the ocean like it was part of the water. Never in such a long time has she felt this composed. She was almost jealous by the lack of aquatic life in the forest, it was so calm here, nothing was going wrong, or could go wrong, everything was peacefully minding it's own business.
Yet the two boys struggled dramatically, trying to catch up to their guides. Finally noticing, Tsireya waved over to them, gesturing for them to join her before she adjusted her body once more to continue swimming, not noticing how her apprentices struggled to keep up.
Ao'nung kept a close eye on Neyire, he felt proud watching her. The way she appreciated his home made him feel something, like she was appreciating him, but he too eventually turned away, checking in on her every whereabouts once in a while, returning to swim alongside Tsireya and Rotxo.
The foreign siblings needed air and resurfaced quickly, almost right after the guiding siblings looked away. To the Metkayina's this would be a pitiful amount of time to stay underwater. From birth they would swim, holding your breath for long periods of time is a must. However,if your from a forest holding your breath isn't needed. Due to this, confusion surged the two important children when the forest Na'vi were spotted rising back up for air. Rotxo turned to Ao'nung puzzled on where the trainees were, he still hadn't noticed the darker Na'vi travelling upwards. Ao'nung was no help to Rotxo, he was too bussy looking upwards to give him information. Resorting to Tsireya with raised eyebrows he found her staring the same direction as his bestfriend. He finally looked up realising where they were.
