TW// Mentions Of Self Harm and Suicide

Three girls sat in the same bed, watching the same movie on a laptop screen. It was unclear if all three would still be there by the end of it.

"Do we really have to watch this movie?" Lani complained to the other two girls.

"What's wrong with 'A Quiet Place' ?" Drista asked.

"I like it, but it makes me feel so weird after...like I'm constantly being watched." Lani groaned and pulled a blanket around herself tightly.

"I feel like that all the time anyway." Drista pressed play and focused on the movie.

"Lani, has anyone ever told you..." Quinn started and paused to think of something. Clearly she just wanted to start an issue. "That your makeup looks cakey? No offense, I just thought you should know."

Lani cowered easily. "I'm not even wearing makeup right now..."

"That's your skin?" Quinn taunted.

"Yeah..." Lani covered her face with the blanket and sighed.

"Shut up and watch the movie." Drista was annoyed that for once, someone was acting like her. She used to be a bully in public school. It made her uncomfortable to think she was a Quinn.

"Lani, don't be a baby. I was just teasing." Quinn tried to smooth things over, but she only made them worse. "There's no need to cry or cut yourself."

Lani's breath hitched as she processed what Quinn said. "Quinn, what the heck?"

Quinn shrugged. "Sorry, did your roommate not know? It's not like you aren't covered in scars."

Drista paused the movie, and balled her hands into fists. What happened after that, was a foggy blur.

"Do you think we should be worried though, just a little bit?" Karl wondered while getting his side of the bed ready.

"That brat has enough spite to kill a soldier. I think she's fine." Sapnap slurred his words as he crawled into bed.

"I'd be more afraid of a soldier than that girl." Quackity commented while getting in the middle of the bed.

"I don't know, I think she'll kill one day." Sapnap laughed drunkenly and curled up on his side.

"Babes, be nice. She's traumatized. She was such a sweet girl before the thing happened." Karl huffed and got into bed. He cuddled into Quackity, since he was the nearest husband.

"Sweet?" Sapnap mumbled, still half awake. "You didn't live with them for six months. That girl was always a little...off."

"Well I'm worried about her..." Karl pouted. "I want her to be able to live a happy full life. She deserves more than what her brother got."

"I do feel bad." Quackity spoke up. "I mean, her parents are dead. Dad died in a motorcycle accident, mom killed herself. Then her brother gets murdered a few years later...it sucks, I feel empathy for her. That doesn't excuse her actions though."

"I guess not..." Karl sniffled and closed his eyes. "I guess I'm just afraid that she did it..."

"From the perspective of someone who is interested in law... she's innocent." Quackity gave Karl some peace of mind before falling asleep.

Drista's mind came back to her after an hour. She blacked out for that hour, and things were a mystery now. She was in the bathroom, sitting on the floor. The first thing she did was check her surroundings. She was alone.
