He nodded pulling his hands away from me.
"So friends?"
I nodded looking down. I felt bad for shutting him down but it's just what I need for now.
It was silent for a while. I guess we were both thinking about what to say. Which reminded me,
"Hey, Zoey was texting me about this thingy called rockz out or something,"
He quickly cringed at the name - I don't blame him.
"She has extra tickets so she suggested I invited some other friends so why not you?"
He raised his eyebrows forming a smile then quickly dismissed it,
"Fine I don't see why not"
"Great. Pick us up at 8:30 sharp?"
"Woah, when did this become me being your chauffeur?"
I shrugged and he laughed.
"Thank you for still talking to me Izzy"
I hugged him and he waited before hugging me back.
