Leah was frowning as she pacing back and forth in her room. She gritted her teeth from time to time, wringing her arms together. The uneasiness she was feeling for last few days wasn't helping her calm her messed up thoughts, she was trying very best to thinking while cope with her anger and annoyance. She was so caught up in her mind she, didn't notice her door open someone walked in.

"Leah! Hey Leah! " A pretty girl around around Leah's age called out.

Shaken shaken up from her thoughts she, turned her attention to the visitor and pleasantly surprised " Oh! Emily! when did you come? I didn't know that you were coming?" The gloominess in her pretty face dispersed like clouds, " Come in! come in, sit" Leah invited her by dragging her by hand sat her down with smile on her face.

Emily eyed Leah for few seconds, after they both sat on her bed. " So how are you doing, you don't even bother to call me anymore?" Emily asked Leah with a fake scowl.

"It's nothing serious, I have been caught up with something, sorry!" Leah said apologize, "that being said I don't remember, you calling me either?"

Emily smiled sheepishly at her, " you, know I joined local high and started teaching our arts and culture and kind of busy studying about lores and... Legends, in short very busy" Emily seems suddenly change from saying something what and Casually changed subjects. They caught up and talked about what they are doing.

" You didn't plan to go to college this year?" Emily asked frowning she, herself only finished her high school as well but had no interested in studying further, instead she interested in learning more about their culture and arts but she knows Leah planning to study further. " Yeah, of course I will be studying" Leah replied, non-committaly then fell into her own thoughts.

"What's the matter with you, you are getting distracted more than once " Emily asked.

Leah grimaced, " It's nothing! I was not feeling well, that's all"

Emily looking at her with critical eyes then sighed " Is that about him" Leah froze for a second, unable to reply, try to reply something but nothing come out of her mouth, her face changed from joyful to sad, like she has been crushed, broke down into tears in the instance. Emily face changed to shock she hurriedly hugged Leah " shhhh, Leah! What's the matter, calm down, what happened why are you?....why are you suddenly crying like this" Emily asked with worry.

It takes a while before she stopped crying but she wasn't enough calm to speak her mind, as it makes no sense " it's alright Leah, calm yourself first; I can't understand what you are saying, okay so stop crying first, I am not going anywhere talk slowly" she patted Leah on her back patiently.

" There! There, it's going to be alright want some water" Emily asked her in concern then poured some water for Leah.

"Thanks" Leah mumbled, her sobbing gradually calm down mumbled something to herself like " can't believe" and " so embarrassed"

"What happened to you Leah? you are not like this! You can talk to me about anything you know, you know that don't you?" Emily asked in soft voice.
